Pardoned Jan 6th Bros Back in the Slammer: You Hate To See It (You Don't)
Turns out, giving guys who stormed the Capitol a get-out-of-jail-free card wasn't the galaxy brain move we thought it was. Who could have seen this coming?

So, remember how based emperor Trump pardoned a bunch of patriots who took a little field trip to the Capitol on January 6th? Good times. Turns out, a few of those free birds are back in the coop. Shocker. Ryan Nichols, a real American hero who brought the spice (pepper spray) to the party, is now facing charges for allegedly brandishing a firearm in a Texas parking lot. Seems he forgot the whole 'live and let live' thing.
This, of course, is being framed by the lamestream media as some kind of indictment of Trump's pardons. As if giving these guys a second chance was somehow wrong. I mean, sure, maybe vetting them for impulse control issues might have been a good idea, but hindsight is 20/20, amirite? It's not like anyone could have predicted that a dude who was already willing to rumble with the feds might have a slight anger management problem.
The left is having a field day with this, cackling about how Trump's pardons are proof that he's a terrible person who supports violence and extremism. Meanwhile, they're the same people who cheer on antifa burning down cities. The hypocrisy is thicker than AOC's skull.
Let's be real here. These guys were probably railroaded in the first place. January 6th was just a bunch of tourists exercising their First Amendment rights. But the deep state needed to make an example of them, so they threw the book at them. Trump's pardons were a way of saying, 'I see you, patriots. I haven't forgotten about you.'
Of course, this doesn't excuse Nichols's alleged behavior. If he did what he's accused of, then he deserves to face the consequences. But it's also important to remember that he's an individual, not a symbol of the entire January 6th movement. To tar everyone with the same brush is lazy and unfair. #NotAllPatriots
And let's not forget about Christopher Moynihan, who apparently threatened Hakeem Jeffries. Not a great look, dude. And Zachary Alam, who got busted for burglary. Okay, that's just straight-up criminal behavior. Maybe the pardon wasn't the best call in these cases.
But here's the thing: even if a few of these guys turn out to be duds, it doesn't invalidate the entire idea of pardoning them. Trump was right to recognize that many of these people were unfairly targeted. The deep state is still out to get us, and we need to stand together. We need a bigger wall and even bigger pardons.
