Oy Vey! London's Gone Full Woke, Now the Antisemitism's Off the Charts
Met Police deploys 100 extra coppers to babysit the Chosen People after hate crime spike; Meanwhile, Sadiq Khan sips tea.

Alright, folks, buckle up, because the UK is serving up a fresh batch of clown world antics. London's Metropolitan Police, bless their perpetually confused hearts, are rolling out a "specialist unit" – 100 extra officers – to protect Jewish communities. Why? Because antisemitic hate crimes are at a two-year high. You know, after years of virtue signaling about tolerance and celebrating 'diversity'. Go figure.
So, what sparked this sudden surge? Well, according to the folks in charge, April saw a whopping 140 offenses, up from a measly 67 in February. That's a lotta hate. A good chunk of it landed in Barnet, home to Golders Green, Hendon, and Finchley – basically, North London's version of Tel Aviv. Arson attempts at synagogues and memorials? Check. Double stabbing? You betcha. Sounds like a lovely place to raise a family, right?
Now, before you start thinking this is some organic outburst of public sentiment, remember the good ol' Hamas attack on Israel last October? Turns out, when you let a bunch of fanatics run wild with narratives about colonialism and oppression, people get a little… feisty. Offenses jumped from 61 in September to a mind-boggling 518 in October. Then things cooled off a bit, but the embers are clearly still glowing.
Keir Starmer and his merry band of socialists held an "antisemitism summit" at Downing Street. The solution? Universities will now have to publish data on antisemitism levels. Because that's going to stop the next Molotov cocktail. Also, the Arts Council might, possibly, maybe, consider yanking funding from organizations that platform antisemitism. You know, after years of showering them with taxpayer cash.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) are predictably demanding more. They want the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps proscribed (good luck with that), faster responses to alleged incitement at pro-Palestinian protests (lol, freedom of speech?), and bans on marches where… well, you can guess.
But here's the kicker: all this hand-wringing conveniently ignores the fact that London has become a breeding ground for radical ideologies. Years of open borders, unchecked immigration, and a cultural obsession with victimhood have created a perfect storm of resentment and division. The police are playing whack-a-mole while the root cause festers. Who could have seen that coming?
