Orange Man Bad… At Letting Iran Get Away With It?
Trump roasts Iran for playing games with the Hormuz Strait ceasefire, but is it all just theater for the normies?

Okay, so Trump’s on Truth Social (still!) complaining that Iran’s “doing a very poor job” reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Apparently, that was the price of admission for the US stopping the 40-day bombing spree – which, let's be real, probably only stopped because someone finally showed Trump a chart of oil prices.
Anyway, the deal was: no boom-booms from Uncle Sam, Iran opens the spigot (of oil, you pervs). But surprise, surprise, the Ayatollahs are sandbagging. They closed the strait again after some “massive Israeli air assault on Beirut” that left 300+ dead. Sounds messy. But c'mon, it's the Middle East – when isn't it?
Now, I'm not saying Israel's hands are clean, but Iran playing the victim card is richer than Elon Musk after a Saudi bailout. As of Friday morning, only 7% of normal traffic is flowing through the Hormuz Strait, according to some website called Hormuzstraitmonitor.com. Probably run by a bunch of nerds, but numbers don't lie. Well, they can be fudged, but let’s assume these ones are legit for now.
So, what’s really going on? Is Trump actually mad, or is this just another episode of “Reality TV Diplomacy”? He’s gotta keep the boomers glued to Fox News somehow. Meanwhile, Israel's still bombing Lebanon (based Hezbollah, am I right?), and some Iran-backed goons are hitting “vital facilities” in Kuwait. Sounds like a party, and not the good kind.
Talks are scheduled in Islamabad. Islamabad! You know, that place famous for… uh… being in Pakistan? Anyway, Vice President Vance (who?) is leading the US delegation. Good luck with that. Meanwhile, Netanyahu is all like, “We’re still gonna fight Hezbollah!” So much for that ceasefire, huh?
Lloyds List (sounds British, so probably trustworthy) says over 600 vessels are stuck in the Middle East Gulf. That's a lot of boats. They estimate it'll take over 10 days to clear the backlog even if traffic magically goes back to normal. Spoiler alert: it won’t.
Iran’s been threatening ships trying to pass through the strait, demanding protection money, basically running a protection racket. Classic. This is the swamp, folks, and it’s global.
So, is Trump gonna do anything about it? Probably tweet some more angry words. Maybe threaten to nuke Tehran (again). But will he actually pull the trigger? My bet is no. Too many shekels at stake. This is all just Kabuki theater, folks. Don’t fall for it. Remember to buy gold, stockpile ammo, and learn to code. The future is gonna be wild.
