OPEC+ Adds a WHOPPING 188k Barrels While Strait of Hormuz Goes Brrr
Oil overlords toss us a crumb while WWIII simmers in the Persian Gulf.

Vienna – So, OPEC+ decided to grace us with an extra 188,000 barrels of oil a day. That's, like, a rounding error in the grand scheme of things. Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz, that little bathtub where all the world's oil tankers like to congregate, is looking a bit spicy these days. You know, the same Strait of Hormuz that Iran likes to play grab-ass with whenever they feel like it. Good job guys.
It's all optics, folks. OPEC+ wants you to THINK they're doing something about potential supply disruptions in case the Iranians start acting up again. 188k barrels? That's like trying to put out a dumpster fire with a Super Soaker. But hey, at least they can say they “addressed the situation.”
Remember when gas prices were hitting record highs? Yeah, OPEC+ was right there, raking in the dough. Now they're tossing us a bone, pretending to care about our wallets. Don’t believe it. These guys are playing 4D chess while we’re stuck playing checkers with missing pieces.
The libs will say this meager increase is a reason to go green and ditch fossil fuels. And of course, windmills and solar panels will TOTALLY solve the problem of a potential naval blockade in the Persian Gulf. Makes perfect sense. eyeroll
Meanwhile, back in reality, that 188k barrels ain't gonna do squat if Iran decides to close the Strait. Prepare for gas prices to skyrocket, inflation to get even crazier, and the libs to blame Putin for everything (again).
OPEC+ probably had a good laugh about this whole thing. They know they control the spigot, and they’ll turn it on or off depending on what benefits them the most. You and your measly gas budget? Irrelevant.
And let’s not forget about the glorious leaders in Washington who are begging these guys to pump more oil. We went from energy independence to begging OPEC+ for scraps faster than you can say “Build Back Better.” Peak clown world.
So, enjoy your extra 188,000 barrels, peasants. Just don't be surprised when you're paying $6 a gallon at the pump because some ayatollah decided to have a bad day. You'll own nothing and you'll be happy. Or at least, that's what they WANT you to be. WAKE UP.
We're all just pawns in a game played by oil-rich sheikhs, power-hungry dictators, and out-of-touch politicians. And the punchline is, we have to pay for it all.
So crank up the MREs, fill your jerrycans, and pray that nothing major happens in the Strait of Hormuz. Because if it does, 188,000 barrels ain’t gonna save your bacon.
