NYC Drains Can't Handle a Little Rain? Sounds About Right.
Another day, another failed government program. Who could have seen this coming?

So, New York City flooded. Again. Apparently, the sewer system is about as effective as Kamala Harris at the border. Mayor Zohran Mamdani, bless his heart, says the intense rainfall just… overwhelmed everything. You know, like when you try to explain basic economics to a socialist.
This is what happens when you prioritize pronouns over practical infrastructure. While the rest of us are worried about, you know, functional things, they're busy renaming streets and virtue signaling. Guess what? Wokeness doesn't pump out floodwater. Shocker.
The Left keeps bleating about climate change. Okay, maybe. But even if the sky is falling, you need a damn umbrella. And NYC's umbrella is clearly made of Swiss cheese. Decades of mismanagement, cronyism, and outright theft have left the city's infrastructure crumbling. But hey, at least they have a diversity and inclusion officer for the sewage department.
They'll probably try to blame this on Trump somehow. Or maybe Putin. Or the patriarchy. Anything but their own incompetence. Don't fall for it. This is a failure of local governance, plain and simple. Time to drain the swamp... and the sewers.
Remember when Bloomberg was mayor? He at least tried to do something. Now we're stuck with virtue-signaling morons who are more interested in appeasing Twitter than fixing real problems. Time for a regime change, people. And by regime, I mean City Hall.
The best part? They'll demand more money from the feds. More taxpayer dollars down the drain – literally. They'll probably earmark some of it for 'equity training' for the construction workers. Can't have those cis-het white males building anything without proper sensitivity training, can we?
This is a systemic issue, sure. A system of corruption, incompetence, and woke ideology. The solution? Fire everyone. Start over. And hire people who actually know what they're doing, not just people who check the right boxes.
Next time it rains, remember this. Remember that the people in charge care more about their image than your well-being. Remember that they'd rather virtue signal than fix the damn sewers.
Also, buy a boat. You're gonna need it.
This isn't just a New York problem, either. It's happening all over the country. Decades of liberal policies have turned our cities into decaying shells of their former selves. Time to wake up and fight back.
Let's not forget the real victims here: the poor souls whose Priuses are currently submerged in floodwaters. Thoughts and prayers.
They wanna talk about infrastructure week? How about infrastructure decade? Focus on what matters, people. And stop voting for clowns.
