NPCs Triggered: Snowflake Candidates Cry 'Abuse' Over Mean Tweets (And Maybe a Few Real Threats)
Did someone say something mean online? Time to clutch your pearls and demand censorship, because apparently, democracy is only for people who agree with you.

So, apparently, the UK is having an election, and guess what? Some candidates are claiming they're being abused. Oh, the horror! Death threats? Maybe. Hurt feelings because someone called them a communist on Twitter? Probably. The reality is somewhere in between, but the narrative is already being weaponized to silence dissent and usher in the Great Reset.
Security Minister Dan Jarvis (who?) is outraged at the “vile abuse, harassment and intimidation.” Boo hoo. Maybe politics isn't for you, snowflake. If you can't handle a few mean memes, how are you going to handle running a country?
The Green Party, naturally, is leading the charge in the Woe Is Me Olympics. They claim it's the “worst year in memory,” with candidates being “chased down the street” and subjected to “wildly false claims.” Translation: People are finally waking up to their eco-fascist agenda, and they don't like it one bit. Maybe try having better policies instead of crying about “misinformation.”
Of course, the Electoral Commission (a totally unbiased and trustworthy organization, wink wink) is going to release a report in the autumn. You can bet your bottom dollar it'll be used to justify draconian regulations on online speech and further consolidate power in the hands of the elites. Prepare for the Ministry of Truth 2.0.
Remember the 2024 election? Apparently, many candidates experienced “unacceptable levels of intimidation and harassment.” Translation: They got called out for their BS. Now, nobody is condoning actual violence or credible threats (though, let's be honest, a little trolling is sometimes warranted). But the line between “abuse” and “robust political debate” is getting thinner and thinner, and it's always the left who gets to decide where that line is.
Nigel Farage, based as always, called out Elon Musk for not doing enough to censor people on X. Even Farage is losing it. It must be really bad. Or really good, depending on your perspective.
The Labour mayor of the West Midlands, Richard Parker, was “threatened and followed.” Okay, that's not cool. But let's not pretend this is some unique phenomenon. Politicians have been facing threats since the dawn of time. It's part of the job. Grow a spine.
The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) is whining about “racial and Islamophobic harassment.” Yawn. Always playing the victim card. And Plaid Cymru says online discourse has become “increasingly toxic.” Well, duh. Welcome to the internet.
