NPC Activist LARPs Atop Bridge, Demands End to Iran War, AI... LOL
Guy Fawkes wannabe climbs D.C. bridge, because Congress totally cares, bro.

WASHINGTON — So, some dude named Guido Reichstadter, 45, decided to become a real-life NPC and glued himself to the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in D.C. to protest the Iran war and AI. Seriously, this is peak clown world.
This ex-jeweler and failed physics student (surprise, surprise) apparently quit his job to save humanity from...checks notes...existential threats. Translation: He's unemployed and has too much free time. This isn't his first rodeo either; he pulled the same stunt back in 2022 over Roe v. Wade. Gotta get those virtue signaling points, amirite?
"The situation with AI from my perspective, which I think is the shared perspective of many of the experts, it really couldn't be more dire," Reichstadter whined. Oh noes, the robots are coming! Maybe he should spend less time LARPing and more time learning to code, so he can actually do something about it. But no, he's too busy blocking traffic and annoying commuters. Based.
And the Iran war? Yeah, Congress is totally going to change its foreign policy because some dude is playing Spiderman on a bridge. He wants them to "grow a spine and do its job" because apparently, he knows better than the entire US government. The audacity is palpable.
He also had the galaxy brain take that he doesn't see a difference between Iran having nukes and other countries having them. Let that sink in. This is the level of intellectual horsepower we're dealing with. A country that chants "Death to America" daily is just like, say, Switzerland, right? No difference at all. /s
"I haven't seen anything that makes me believe that the Iranian regime is particularly different in terms of its willingness to destroy the world." Spoken like someone who hasn't bothered to read a history book, ever. Maybe he should check out the State Department's website, which has designated Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism since 1984. But facts are, like, totally inconvenient, right?
This whole thing is just performative activism at its finest. He achieves nothing, inconveniences everyone, and probably gets a pat on the back from his equally clueless friends. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just trying to get to work and avoid the inevitable traffic jam.
So, kudos to Guido for his brave stand against…something. Maybe he should try protesting in a productive way, like, I don't know, starting a business or volunteering. But that would require actual effort, wouldn't it?
In conclusion, Guido Reichstadter is a prime example of why nobody takes activists seriously. He's virtue signaling his way to oblivion, one bridge climb at a time. 🤡
