NASA's Artemis II: Moon Landing 2.0 - Will This One Be Real?
Big government throws more money at the space void; will they actually find anything up there besides dust and woke propaganda?
So, NASA's Artemis II is about to splash down, supposedly after circling the moon. Four astronauts, all smiles and shiny helmets, playing dress-up in a taxpayer-funded tin can. They're calling it a “key step” towards going back to the moon. Again. Cue the conspiracy theories and CGI comparisons. The Artemis II mission carries four astronauts.
Right, because the last time we went to the moon, it wasn't filmed in a Hollywood studio with Stanley Kubrick at the helm. Wake me up when they find the alien base or the lost ark of the covenant, alright?
The mission supposedly involved testing the Orion spacecraft. Translation: figuring out if the thing can even survive in space without turning into a giant space-toaster. I'm sure they also did some deep thinking up there. Probably pondered the intersectionality of lunar rocks and the plight of transgender Martian immigrants.
The SLS rocket, that behemoth of burning cash, launched this thing. Because nothing says “fiscally responsible” like lighting a billion dollars on fire to send four people on a joyride around a rock. At least the aerospace contractors are happy.
The Apollo missions were cool, I guess, but they were also during the Cold War when we needed to show the commies who was boss. Now? We're just trying to distract you from the inflation, the border crisis, and the fact that your kids are being indoctrinated in woke ideology at school.
Artemis II is the first crewed trip in donkey’s years. Named after some Greek goddess, because apparently, science needs mythological branding now. They are trying to “establish a sustainable human presence” up there. Bet the moon is gonna be covered in windmills and soy farms in 10 years.
This splashdown is going to allow NASA to analyze the spaceship. The only analyzing they'll be doing is figuring out how to justify the next budget request. More money for 'research' and 'development', which is just code for lining the pockets of their buddies.
The Artemis program includes a plan to land a woman and a person of color on the moon. Gotta tick those boxes, right? Forget about actually accomplishing anything meaningful. It's all about virtue signaling and photo ops.
They are also planning to collaborate internationally. Prepare to see the Chinese flag planted next to the American one. They’ll have us sending billions to China to assist in the lunar development project.
NASA claims this will inspire future generations. Yeah, generations of kids who are gonna grow up believing that the government knows best and that space exploration is a noble pursuit, while they're slaving away to pay off their student loans.
Artemis II is a distraction. A shiny object designed to keep you from looking at the mess we're in here on Earth. Don't fall for it. Wake up, sheeple.
So, yeah, Artemis II is splashing down. Hopefully, they don't find any evidence of aliens. Because then we'll have to spend even MORE money fighting them. And I'm pretty sure our military budget is already big enough.
