LANSING, Mich. — Hold onto your hats, folks, because Michigan Senate hopeful Mallory McMorrow just pulled a move so woke, it made Bernie Sanders spill his Metamucil. Our girl Mallory, bless her heart, floated the idea of giving Palestinians their very own Iron Dome during a podcast interview. Yeah, that Iron Dome, the one that keeps Israelis from getting blown to smithereens by Hamas rockets.

Now, before you choke on your tendies, she kinda sorta walked it back faster than Biden forgets where he is. Apparently, it wouldn't apply to Gaza, because, you know, Hamas. But still, the mere suggestion is enough to make even the most seasoned political observers say, “Wait, what?”

McMorrow, desperately trying to scoop up those sweet, sweet progressive votes, sat down with pro-Palestine podcasters Matt Bernstein and Emma Vigeland, and things got spicy. When grilled about her support for Israel's Iron Dome, she mumbled something about everyone deserving not to be bombed. Cue the audible groan from Bernstein, who probably choked on his kombucha.

“Let’s have that conversation,” she chirped when the hosts brought up Palestinian Iron Dome. Translation: “Please don’t primary me, I’ll say anything!”

This is the same Mallory McMorrow who’s running against Haley Stevens, the establishment Dem backed by AIPAC, and Abdul El-Sayed, the Bernie bro who hung out with Hasan Piker, the streamer who thinks America deserved 9/11. Talk about a clown show.

McMorrow didn’t exactly push back when the podcasters started ranting about “Zionist indoctrination” and Israel being an “apartheid state.” Guess she figures alienating half the electorate is a small price to pay for a few woke points.

Look, I get it. She’s trying to be a “bridge candidate,” whatever that means. But suggesting we hand over missile defense tech to people who are actively trying to destroy our allies? That’s not bridging the divide, that’s just lighting the whole damn bridge on fire.

So, kudos to Mallory for upping the cringe factor in this already-insane Senate race. At this rate, she’ll be calling for reparations and open borders by next Tuesday. Buckle up, buttercups, it's gonna be a wild ride.
