Another day, another bunch of unionized government employees holding the country hostage. This time it's the Long Island Rail Road, where 3,700 leeches decided to throw a tantrum and walk off the job, leaving 330,000 poor saps stranded. The reason? They want a bigger slice of the pie. Of course they do.

These aren't hardworking entrepreneurs taking risks and building something. These are government employees, feasting off the taxpayer teat. And they're demanding a 5% raise on top of the 3% annual raises they were already offered. Because why not? It's not their money, right?

MTA Chairman Janno Lieber says the agency "gave the union everything they said they wanted in terms of pay." But apparently, "everything" isn't enough for these greedy grifters. They're like toddlers demanding more tendies.

And of course, Governor Kathy Hochul is playing the blame game, pointing fingers at the Trump administration for cutting mediation efforts short. Classic. Blame Trump for everything, even when it's a bunch of union goons holding the state hostage. It's always someone else's fault, isn't it? Never the fault of the people demanding more free stuff.

Meanwhile, real people are suffering. Commuters are scrambling to find alternative routes, causing traffic jams and delays. Businesses are losing money. The whole region is being held hostage by these entitled brats.

What's the solution? Simple. Fire them all. Seriously. There are plenty of people who would happily take their jobs and actually show up to work. Privatize the whole damn system and let the free market sort it out.

But that'll never happen, because unions are a protected species in this country. They donate to the right politicians, they mobilize voters, and they get away with this kind of crap all the time. It's a racket, plain and simple.

So, next time you're stuck in traffic because of a union strike, remember who's really to blame. It's not just the union members themselves, it's the entire system that enables them to hold the country hostage. Wake up, sheeple!
