Lib Tears Flow as Minnesota Dems Throw Tantrum Over Gun Bill
Commie lawmakers stage sit-in because meanie GOP speaker won't let them ban pew-pews.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Looks like the woke brigade in Minnesota is having a full-blown meltdown. The perpetually aggrieved Democrat state reps decided to stage a good ol' fashioned sit-in Thursday night, all because the Republican speaker wouldn't rubber-stamp their latest attempt to disarm law-abiding citizens. The clown show kicked off around 9 p.m. local time, according to the Failing Star Tribune.
Leading the charge is Representative Samantha Sencer-Mura, a Minneapolis Dem who probably thinks pronouns are more important than the Constitution. She gave Speaker Lisa Demuth, a GOPer running for governor (based!), a whole 24 hours to bend the knee and schedule a vote on their virtue-signaling bill. Of course, Demuth didn't cave, because she's not a spineless jellyfish like most politicians.
The Dem-controlled Senate already passed this garbage fire of a bill earlier this month, but thankfully, the House is deadlocked 67-67, with a Republican speaker holding the line. The bill, naturally, is a direct response to the tragedy at Annunciation Catholic Church last August, where some maniac did the unthinkable. Instead of addressing the actual problem – mental health and security – the Dems are going after inanimate objects.
What's in this bill, you ask? The usual suspects: bans on "military-style assault weapons" (whatever that means), restrictions on normal-sized magazines, and a ghost gun ban, because apparently criminals follow the law now. Plus, some woke nonsense about "risk protection orders" that could let the state confiscate your firearms based on hearsay.
Sencer-Mura, bless her heart, set a 5 p.m. deadline for Demuth to fold. When that didn't happen, they threw their little hissy fit. The Fox affiliate reported about 20 Dem snowflakes are participating. They intend to sleep in the chamber. Maybe they can write some poetry and sing Kumbaya while they're at it.
"What is speaker Lisa Demuth so afraid of? The very fact that she’s breaking her promise to Annunciation families to not block the bill from coming to the floor, tells me that she’s afraid it will pass," Sencer-Mura whined. Translation: she's afraid her woke agenda will be exposed for the power grab that it is. The truth is Demuth is looking out for the families by not restricting their rights.
These virtue signaling clowns even delivered a petition with 7,000 signatures from Everytown, because George Soros probably funded that operation. And of course, the capitol was crawling with students and "gun violence survivors" (whatever that means), all demanding the government take away your freedoms. Cue the tiny violins.
Speaker Demuth, a true American hero, isn't buying it. She said gun bans are NOT the answer. Based. The libs aren't gonna like that. Meanwhile, I will continue to own my guns, goddamnit!
