Leftist Tears Flow in Turkey After Opposition Leader Gets the Boot
Another day, another woke meltdown as Turkish cops hose down commies upset that their guy lost a court battle.

Izmir, Turkey – Oh, the humanity! The blue-haired brigade in Turkey is having a collective conniption fit after their glorious leader, Özgür Özel, got the boot from his cushy gig atop the Republican People's Party (CHP). Seems a pesky little thing called the 'rule of law' reared its ugly head, and a court decided that maybe, just maybe, the 2023 primary election that put Özel in power wasn't exactly on the up-and-up. What followed? Water cannons, tear gas, and enough leftist tears to fill the Aegean Sea.
The perpetually offended snowflakes in Izmir took to the streets to whine about the injustice of it all, conveniently ignoring the fact that their supreme leader was ousted through perfectly legal channels. The nerve of those Turkish judges, actually enforcing the law instead of bowing down to the woke mob! Guess they missed the memo about how feelings are more important than facts these days. Meanwhile, back at CHP headquarters in Ankara, riot police apparently crashed the party, deploying tear gas and tossing out a few sensitive souls. Boo hoo. Maybe they should try getting real jobs instead of plotting the socialist revolution.
Let's not forget that the CHP, despite its recent electoral successes, is still a haven for the kind of virtue-signaling, globalist-loving lunatics that make normal people want to hurl. And Özel? Just another flavor-of-the-month politician riding the wave of anti-Erdogan sentiment. Now that the courts have intervened, the whole house of cards is threatening to collapse. Serves 'em right.
As Turkey geared up for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, these professional victims decided to stage a pathetic little rally. The government, wisely, shut down the city's central square, but that didn't stop the flag-waving hordes from chanting slogans and generally making a nuisance of themselves. “President Özgür, free Turkey!” they shrieked, apparently oblivious to the irony of demanding freedom while supporting a party that probably wants to confiscate your private property and redistribute it to their buddies. Özel, ever the opportunist, hopped on top of a bus and gave a rousing speech about...something. Probably blaming Trump.
He challenged his rival, Kemal Kıliçdaroğlu, to a primary election, promising a fair fight. Yeah, right. These guys probably think 'fair fight' means bringing a therapist to the debate. Özel whined that his ousting was not just an internal party matter but a grand conspiracy by Erdogan to destroy the opposition. Classic. When in doubt, blame the strongman. The court case that led to Özel's downfall? Allegations of vote-buying, of course. These socialists are always accusing each other of the very crimes they're most likely committing themselves.
