Kim Jong Un Sends Women's Soccer Team South: Is This a Joke?
Another empty gesture from the Hermit Kingdom while they build nukes, probably.
Okay, so Kim Jong Un sent a women's soccer team to South Korea. Cool story, bro. Is this supposed to be some kind of feel-good moment? Like, 'Oh, look, they're playing sports, maybe they won't nuke us!' Give me a break.
It's the same old song and dance. Kimmy does something marginally less insane, and the media goes wild, pretending it's a sign of progress. Meanwhile, they're probably building ICBMs in their basement. Wake up, sheeple!
Remember the 2018 Olympics? Everyone was all kumbaya, and then what happened? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Kimmy got a photo op and went right back to threatening the world. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...
This whole thing is a distraction. While everyone's focused on the soccer game, nobody's paying attention to the fact that North Korea is still a totalitarian dictatorship that violates human rights on a daily basis.
And don't even get me started on the woke corporations falling all over themselves to virtue signal about this. They probably think they can sell more sneakers if they pretend to care about North Korea for five minutes. Pathetic.
I'm not saying we should start a war, but let's be real about what's going on here. Kim Jong Un is not our friend. He's a ruthless dictator who wants to rule the world. And a soccer game isn't going to change that.
So, enjoy the game, I guess. But don't think for a second that this is anything more than a PR stunt. The only thing that's going to change North Korea is regime change. And that ain't happening because of a soccer tournament.
Maybe the team will defect. That would be based. That would be epic. But don't hold your breath.
The media is spinning this like it's a diplomatic breakthrough. LOL. More like a diplomatic clown show. The only thing thinner than Kim Jong Un's hairline is the media's grip on reality.
South Korea better keep one eye on the game and the other on the DMZ. These commies can't be trusted.
Let's go Brandon, and let's get real about North Korea.
(Disclaimer: I am not advocating for violence. Just pointing out the obvious.)
