Just Eat Commies Demand 'Rights' They Never Earned: Peak Woke Capitalism Incoming
Another day, another gig economy hissy fit from entitled snowflakes who think 'flexibility' means 'free stuff'.

Alright, buckle up buttercups, because the woke brigade is at it again. This time, it's the Just Eat delivery drivers – or should I say, delivery comrades – who are whining about their 'rights'. Apparently, choosing your own hours and being your own boss isn't good enough for these pampered princesses. They want minimum wage, holiday pay, and probably a participation trophy while they're at it. More than 7,000 of these snowflakes are launching a legal jihad against Just Eat, claiming they're not 'self-employed independent contractors' but actual workers. Someone get these guys a fainting couch.
So, let's get this straight. Just Eat, in its infinite wisdom, tried being nice. They did the whole 'Scoober' experiment in a few cities, offering the commie trifecta: guaranteed minimum pay, sick pay, and holiday pay. And what happened? Probably everyone showed up late, did the bare minimum, and then complained about the free snacks being gluten-free. Now Just Eat is back to the gig economy model, and suddenly it's the end of the world.
Just Eat claims the drivers love the flexibility. And why wouldn't they? You work when you want, where you want. If you don't feel like delivering burritos on a Tuesday, you don't have to. But no, these people would rather shackle themselves to a 9-to-5 grind, just so they can get a gold star for showing up. Seriously, get a grip.
Leigh Day, the ambulance-chasing law firm leading this circus, is the same bunch that milked Addison Lee and Uber for all they were worth. They're basically the Saul Goodman of the gig economy, preying on corporate weakness and turning every inconvenience into a human rights violation. It's the circle of woke: businesses try to be nice, get burned, revert to capitalism, and then get sued by lawyers looking for a quick buck.
The UK government, bless their hearts, even created the 'Fair Work Agency' to oversee this mess. Because what we really need is more government bureaucracy micromanaging every aspect of our lives. A report for the FWA identified the gig economy as a 'high-risk area'. High risk for what? Businesses trying to offer a service without being bled dry by lawyers and entitled millennials?
Nigel Mackay of Leigh Day (surprise!) thinks individuals will still need to sue companies to get what they want. Well, duh. That's how these grifters make their living. The government promises to 'simplify' employment status. Good luck with that. The only thing government 'simplifies' is the process of taking your money.
