Judge Slaps Wrist of Trump Admin Over Golf Course: Is This Parks and Rec IRL?
Lib tears flow as Trump dares to build a nice golf course; toxic waste? Probably just libs freaking out, bro.

DC - So, another day, another bunch of pearl-clutching about Trump doing… something. This time it's a golf course. Specifically, the East Potomac golf course in DC. Apparently, Orange Man Bad wants to make it, you know, nice. The horror!
A federal judge, channeling her inner Amy Poehler (but, let’s be real, nobody can replace Leslie Knope), got involved in a dispute about the redevelopment. The DC Preservation League, presumably staffed entirely by people who think golf is an evil capitalist plot, filed for a restraining order. Cry more, snowflakes.
According to the perpetually triggered Washington Post, Trump wants to “dramatically remake parts of Washington’s waterfront,” turning it into a “national garden of American heroes.” Sounds pretty based, TBH. But oh noes, muh environment!
The National Park Service, bless their hearts, is doing a “safety assessment.” Because everything is a crisis these days. Superintendent Kevin Griess (probably a deep-state operative, let’s be honest) says no major work is planned, despite some fake news report saying it’s all closing down. Narrative control, much?
The judge, doing her best impression of a concerned citizen, told the Trump admin to “tread carefully.” Tread carefully? It’s a golf course, not a minefield. She even invoked the sacred name of “Parks and Recreation,” because apparently, everything has to be filtered through the lens of woke entertainment now.
But the real kicker? “Toxic” rubble from the White House East Wing (which is being replaced with a ballroom because, priorities) was dumped at the golf course. Lead, chromium, the usual suspects. Sounds like a job for some good old-fashioned deregulation. You know, real free market solutions. Maybe turn that toxic waste into fertilizer? Just spitballing here.
Apparently, the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast (never heard of it, probably some lib echo chamber) broke the toxic soil story. And now they have a Pulitzer Prize. I'm sure it's well deserved, but the timing is suspect.
This whole thing started because Trump terminated some 50-year lease with the National Links Trust, accusing them of letting the courses go to seed. Which, let’s face it, probably happened. Bureaucracy, amirite? He told the Wall Street Journal he’d do them “really beautifully.” And that’s what gets the libs riled up. It's not the environmental concerns, its that Trump is literally a builder and does amazing stuff.
