Istanbul: Another Day, Another Shooting Near the Embassy of Wokeness (Israel)
Turns out, places that hate freedom aren't all that safe. Who knew?

ISTANBUL - So, word on the street (or, you know, the internet) is there was some pop-pop happening near the Israeli consulate in Istanbul. Shocking, I tell ya. Absolutely shocking that a country with a… complicated relationship with the West might have a spot of trouble near a Western embassy. Surprised Pikachu face
Look, I'm not saying anything specific, but it's not exactly news that certain folks aren't big fans of Israel. And when you've got a powder keg of global tensions simmering, embassies tend to be prime targets for expressing… feelings. Feelings best expressed, apparently, with a healthy dose of lead.
I'm sure the Usual Suspects will be along shortly to tell us how this is all Trump's fault or global warming or some other conveniently woke boogeyman. But let's be real: this is just another reminder that the world is a dangerous place, and pretending otherwise isn't going to make it any safer. Maybe we should spend less time virtue signaling and more time, I don't know, securing our damn embassies?
Meanwhile, back in reality, the only thing we know for sure is that some trigger-happy goon decided to make some noise near a building flying the Star of David. The why is anyone's guess. Maybe he had a bad falafel. Maybe he's just got a deep-seated hatred of freedom. Who knows? Who cares? What matters is that it happened.
And if you think this is an isolated incident, I've got a bridge to sell you. This is just par for the course in a world where crazy is the new normal. Buckle up, buttercups, because it's only going to get weirder from here. Maybe invest in some Kevlar stock. Just sayin'.
I wonder if they have pronouns on their diplomatic immunity cards. Makes you think. Anyways... developing story. I'll update ya when something actually happens besides some rando popping off a few rounds in Turkey. Back to doomscrolling.
