Beirut – Guess who's back, back again? The IDF, dropping some freedom-flavored fireworks on Lebanon. Video out of Beirut shows some buildings taking a dirt nap, and the usual suspects are already clutching their pearls and screaming about 'disproportionate force.'

Look, we all know the drill. Israel defends itself, the media cries foul. It's a tale as old as time, or at least as old as the establishment of the Jewish state. The usual gaggle of useful idiots will be out in force, blaming Israel for everything short of climate change.

Did someone say Hamas? Hezbollah? Yeah, those guys. Turns out, sometimes you gotta whack a hornet's nest. Sorry not sorry if some collateral damage happens when you're dealing with terrorists hiding amongst civilians. It's not ideal, but it's reality.

The perpetually offended will be bleating about 'international law' and 'human rights.' As if terrorists give a damn about either. These are the same people who probably think pronouns are more important than national security.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration will issue some milquetoast statement about 'de-escalation' and 'both sides' needing to show restraint. As if Israel is the aggressor here. Wake me up when the media starts holding the actual bad guys accountable.

Remember, folks: peace through strength. Israel has to defend itself, because nobody else will. And sometimes, that means sending a few precision-guided messages to those who wish them harm.

So grab some popcorn and enjoy the show. The outrage brigade is gonna be working overtime. Just remember to laugh at them, not with them.

And for the love of all that is holy, don't let them guilt you into thinking Israel is the bad guy here. They're just trying to survive in a neighborhood full of lunatics.

It's always 'disproportionate' when Israel fights back, but never when they're getting rockets raining down on their heads. Funny how that works, innit?

So raise a glass to the IDF, and to the continued survival of the Jewish state. May their enemies be confused and scattered.
