ICE Just Bagged Its 10,000th Gang Member and the Open-Border Crowd is Coping Hard
Based Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin shows how actual enforcement works while the previous administration's legacy gets dismantled.

The Trump administration just dropped a massive stat update, announcing that federal authorities have officially clapped handcuffs on over 10,000 suspected gang members since the second term kicked off. While corporate media outlets scramble to find a way to spin this as a bad thing, law-abiding citizens are celebrating a massive win for basic public safety as the streets get cleared of violent predators.
DHS confirmed that the list of charges for these 10,000 absolute winners reads like a grand theft auto rap sheet: murder, assault with a deadly weapon, drug trafficking, extortion, and racketeering. It turns out that when you actually let law enforcement do their jobs instead of treating them like the bad guys, they manage to catch a lot of actual bad guys.
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin did not hold back in his official statement, taking a massive victory lap for ICE. Mullin pointed out the glaringly obvious, reminding everyone that the previous administration's lax policies basically rolled out the red carpet for these criminals. "Many of these gang members were released into our country by Joe Biden," Mullin said, adding that these "vicious criminals" were terrorizing regular Americans for sport.
Enter the Secure America Act. According to Mullin, this legislation has completely "turbocharged" ICE, giving agents the green light to clean up American neighborhoods without having their hands tied by bureaucratic red tape. It's an absolute game-changer for federal agents who are finally being allowed to clean house.
To make things even sweeter, DHS put a face to the 10,000th arrest milestone: a gentleman named Javier Hernandez Rosas. Rosas, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, is an alleged card-carrying member of MS-13. His prior achievements include convictions for cocaine possession, plus some casual arrests for abduction and carrying weapons. Exactly the kind of model citizen the open-border advocates wanted to keep around.
Meanwhile, the border patrol is currently running at maximum capacity. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced they've reached a record high of 21,471 agents on the payroll. That is the highest staffing level in the agency's entire 102-year history. It turns out that when a president actually supports the border patrol, people actually want to sign up and do the job.
The results of this massive enforcement push speak for themselves. Illegal immigration is down by a whopping 87% compared to October 2024 levels. President Trump says that tougher ICE enforcement, reverse migration, and expanded metro raids are successfully sending violent criminal illegal immigrants packing. The era of unchecked lawlessness is officially offline.
