Ibrahimi Mosque: Israel Tightens the Leash, Libs Triggered
Hebron's Ibrahimi Mosque gets a security upgrade – cue the predictable outrage from the usual suspects who think 'security' is a dirty word.

Hebron – So, the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron is getting some extra attention from the IDF. Apparently, some folks are throwing a hissy fit because Israel is, ya know, trying to keep people from blowing each other to smithereens. Seems they're implementing some of the same common-sense security protocols they use at Al-Aqsa Mosque. You'd think they were building a Death Star.
Remember the Baruch Goldstein incident? Probably not, since the media conveniently forgets to mention it when they're painting Israel as the Big Bad Wolf. Goldstein, a Jewish doctor, snapped and killed 29 Muslims in 1994. Tragic? Absolutely. Reason to leave the place wide open like a petting zoo? Absolutely not. Hence the division of the mosque and the enhanced security, which, let's be honest, should've been in place from day one.
Now, the usual hand-wringers are whining about “restrictions” and “religious freedom.” Give me a break. Last time I checked, religious freedom doesn't include the freedom to strap a bomb to yourself and yell “Allahu Akbar” while taking out a few innocent bystanders. These aren't restrictions, they're preventative measures. It’s called being proactive, people. Look it up.
The fact that these measures are similar to those at Al-Aqsa should tell you something. Both sites are volatile as heck. And both need to be protected. The difference, of course, is that when Israel protects itself, it's automatically “oppression.” When anyone else does it, it's “national security.” Double standards much?
Of course, the presence of settlements gets dragged into it. The international community, those paragons of virtue, considers them “illegal.” Funny how they don't have the same outrage for, say, China's human rights abuses or Iran's nuclear ambitions. Selective outrage is the best kind of outrage, apparently.
Let’s be real, folks. The region is a powder keg. One spark and boom goes the dynamite. So, yeah, Israel's beefing up security. Get over it. Maybe if the other side spent less time lobbing rocks and more time building bridges, we wouldn't be in this mess. But hey, that's just, like, my opinion, man.
So, what's the takeaway here? Israel's trying to keep the peace. The Left is losing their minds. And the world keeps spinning. Grab some popcorn. This is going to be a long ride. The keyboard commandos will write strongly worded letters on X (formerly Twitter), and nothing will change. It's a tale as old as time. The woke get no joke.
Don't worry. The only thing this will affect is the daily news cycle. The truth is that Israel is just looking out for its own self-interest.
Nobody should be surprised at this point. If anything changes, it will be because Israel decides it needs to change.
The bottom line is that increased control is necessary. These actions are a reality.
This move is to be expected.
