Hungary's Orban vs. Generic Brand Politician: You Can't Make This Stuff Up
The eternal battle between based nationalism and soulless globohomo resumes this Sunday – will Hungary continue to trigger the libs, or sell out like everyone else?

Budapest, Hungary – Alright, folks, buckle up, because the clown show is back in town! Hungary's got an election this Sunday, and it's basically the same story as always: Viktor Orbán, the guy who actually gives a damn about his country, versus some dude named Péter Magyar, who sounds like he was generated by a woke AI. We're talking about 16 years of Orbán-style winning (yes, winning!) pitted against...well, we're not entirely sure what Magyar stands for, besides 'not Orbán.' Probably virtue signaling and open borders, because of course.
So, the Hungarian peasants are supposedly 'hopeful for change.' Yeah, change to what? More pronoun workshops? Universal basic income for gender studies majors? This Magyar guy, who conveniently emerged from the Fidesz ranks and then conveniently 'turned against' them, is leading in the polls. Leading in the polls! You know what that means? Rigged from the start. Soros is probably having a field day.
Turns out, even the Hungarians aren't totally buying what Magyar is selling. Apparently, he's 'not necessarily seen as the perfect candidate.' No kidding. He's seen as a protest vote, which means he's probably got the charisma of a wet napkin and the conviction of a soy latte.
But hold on, there's a glimmer of hope! Some based Hungarians in Budapest are still rocking with Orbán, bless their hearts. They actually believe in choosing 'between war and peace.' Which is a subtle way of saying, 'Do you want to be a cog in the EU machine, or do you want to be a country?'
One Fidesz voter called Magyar a 'narcissist.' Based. Others are happy with Orbán supporting ethnic Hungarians. Double based. Why can't we get this kind of unapologetic nationalism in the West?
Orbán has been trolling the globalists for years, building fences, saying no to mass migration, and generally making the EU bureaucrats cry into their organic quinoa. He's the hero we need, but don't deserve.
Magyar's probably promising 'muh democracy' and 'muh European values,' which is code for 'we're going to let Brussels run the show and turn Hungary into a woke dystopia.' No thanks.
So, Hungary, do the right thing. Vote Orbán. Keep triggering the libs. And remember, the only thing worse than the current year is the next year if the wrong people are in charge.
