This time, it's everyone's favorite libertarian-ish Congressman, Thomas Massie (R-KY), teaming up with commie-sympathizer Ro Khanna (D-CA) to try and neuter President Trump's ability to deal with Iran. And guess who's gleefully providing the backup? None other than House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, the Dems' new puppet master.

Apparently, these geniuses think Trump's gonna launch a rogue nuke at Tehran if left unchecked. Their 'War Powers Resolution' (LOL) is basically a desperate attempt to invoke Congress's 'constitutional war powers' – which, let's be honest, haven't been worth the parchment they're written on since the Korean War. They want Trump to beg for permission before swatting a fly in the Middle East.

Massie, bless his heart, actually tweeted, "Congress must vote on war according to our Constitution." As if the Deep State gives a damn about the Constitution. Remember all those endless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria… did Congress actually declare any of those? Didn't think so. This is Kabuki theater, folks.

But wait, there's more! Brian Mast (R-FL), a real American hero and veteran, called this resolution a "surrender document to the Ayatollah." Now that's what I'm talking about. Someone with some actual courage to call out this BS for what it is. These clowns are so terrified of mean tweets that they're willing to kneecap the President and jeopardize national security.

Remember the War Powers Resolution of 1973? Yeah, that dumpster fire created in the wake of Vietnam that has been completely ignored by every president since. It's a paper tiger. The elites want to tie Trump's hands because they don't control him. They're afraid he might actually Do Something™ to protect American interests instead of lining the pockets of defense contractors.

So, what's the play here? Jeffries is gonna force a vote, knowing full well that virtue-signaling RINOs will happily join the Dems in voting to undermine Trump. Then, the usual suspects in the GOP leadership will try to 'table' the resolution or send it to committee, where it can die a slow, bureaucratic death. The Swamp protects its own, after all.

But here's the real question: does anyone actually believe Iran is acting in good faith? They're enriching uranium, funding terrorists, and chanting 'Death to America' every Friday. And these clowns want to limit Trump's options? Wake up, sheeple!

This whole charade is a reminder that the Deep State is alive and well, and it's working overtime to sabotage Trump's agenda.
