Haiti: Gangs Gone Wild – Another Failed State, Another Bill for Us?
Hundreds displaced in Port-au-Prince? Shocking. Maybe if they stopped electing clowns, things would be different. Just sayin'.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti – So, more hundreds are displaced in Haiti because of gang violence. Color me shocked. You know, I’d feel worse if this wasn't the plot of a 'Mad Max' sequel playing out in real-time. Turns out, throwing billions of taxpayer dollars at problems doesn't magically fix them. Who knew?
It’s almost like a country that's been mismanaged and riddled with corruption for centuries can't just be 'fixed' with a feel-good handout. Maybe, just maybe, individual responsibility and competent governance play a role? Wild thought, I know.
I mean, seriously, how many times are we going to watch this movie? Failed state, endless aid requests, and then…crickets. Where's the accountability? Is anyone surprised that the gangs are running things? At this point, they're probably more organized than the government. Sad, but true.
And before you start screaming about colonialism or whatever the Woke™ talking point of the day is, let's be real: Haiti has been independent for over two centuries. At some point, you gotta take ownership of your own mess.
So what's the solution? I’m not claiming to have all the answers, but maybe, just maybe, we should stop treating Haiti like a charity case and start demanding some actual reform. And maybe, just maybe, we should focus on securing our own damn border before we spend another dime trying to fix someone else's problems. Just a thought.
Look, I’m not saying we should abandon Haiti. But I am saying we need to be smarter about how we engage. No more blank checks. No more virtue signaling. Real, tangible results or GTFO.
Until Haiti’s leaders start prioritizing the rule of law, economic freedom, and individual responsibility, expect more of the same. Gangs will run wild, people will be displaced, and we'll be stuck footing the bill. It’s the circle of (failed state) life. And it sucks.
Wake me up when they decide to get serious. Until then, I’ll be over here prepping for the inevitable sequel: 'Haiti: Beyond Thunderdome'. Because let's be honest, that's probably where this is headed.
So, yeah, hundreds displaced. Tragic. But predictable. And frankly, I’m tired of being played for a chump.
They need a Batman. Or maybe Judge Dredd. Preferably someone who isn't afraid to clean house.
Time to stop enabling the chaos and start demanding accountability. America first, even when dealing with…well, you know.
The endless cycle continues. At what point do we admit defeat and focus on our own backyard? Food for thought.
