Greenland Melts Down Over Doc Visit: Is This Just Virtue Signaling, Or What?
Leftist Greenlanders triggered by American doctor offering help? Sounds about right. Time for some 'self-determination' lectures!

Nuuk, Greenland – So, Greenland's freaking out because some American doctor showed up with a Trump envoy, Jeff Landry, to, get this, offer help. Apparently, it's a 'deeply problematic' neo-colonialist invasion of their precious bodily autonomy. Seriously? You'd think they were being forced to drink bleach or something.
Health Minister Anna Wangenheim went full snowflake, whining about how Greenlanders aren't 'experimental subjects.' Honey, nobody's asking you to test out the latest mRNA jab. They just want to see if you guys have enough bandages and maybe a working X-ray machine. But, you know, Orange Man Bad, so everything's a conspiracy.
Apparently, Greenland has a 'chronic shortage of health professionals.' Shocking! Maybe instead of screeching about 'political missions,' they should, I don't know, accept the freaking help? But no, it's all about 'respectful cooperation' and 'Greenlandic self-determination.' Sounds like a Marxist buzzword salad to me.
Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen also chimed in, saying, 'You have to contact Greenland through the right channels.' Translation: 'Submit a formal request with a 300-page impact assessment and a diversity and inclusion statement, and maybe, just maybe, we'll consider letting you help us.'
This whole thing is just performative outrage. Trump offered a hospital ship once, and they threw a fit. Now a doctor shows up, and they act like he's Dr. Mengele. Give me a break.
Look, nobody's trying to steal Greenland (again). Okay, maybe Trump was half-serious, but come on. This is about offering assistance to a place that clearly needs it. But the perpetually offended left can't stand the thought of anyone, especially Americans, doing anything without their permission.
Landry and Ambassador Howery are even going to some 'Future Greenland' business conference. Sounds thrilling. Bet they'll be lectured about their 'privilege' and 'carbon footprint' while the Greenlanders quietly pocket the tourist dollars.
Here's the truth: Greenland is a strategically important piece of land. We need allies in the Arctic, and if offering some medical assistance is the price of admission, so be it. But let's not pretend this is about anything other than virtue signaling and anti-Americanism. Get a grip, Greenland. You need help, and someone's offering it. Take it, or don't. But stop whining.
