Greenies Gone Wild: Local Elections Threaten to Turn UK into Compost Heap
As voters worry about actual problems, eco-loons want to slap taxes on everything and build windmills that kill birds.

Alright, listen up, buttercups. The local elections are upon us, and the usual suspects are crawling out of the woodwork to virtue signal about climate change while your energy bills are higher than Snoop Dogg on 4/20. These clowns want you to believe that swapping your gas guzzler for a bicycle and eating bugs will solve all your problems. Newsflash: it won't.
According to the Guardian – yeah, I know, barf – voters are apparently concerned about the "soaring cost of living." No freakin' duh! But instead of offering real solutions, the eco-left wants to double down on the green agenda, which basically means making everything more expensive and less convenient. Ami McCarthy from Greenpeace UK (surprise, surprise) is whining about the "fossil fuel doom loop" and how renewables are the answer. Right, because relying on sunshine and wind is totally gonna keep the lights on when Putin decides to cut off the gas.
Thankfully, we have Nigel Farage and his Reform party to inject some sanity into this clown show. They actually want to frack – the horror! – and tax those virtue-signaling renewable energy companies. Because why should they get a free pass while you're struggling to afford groceries? The Conservatives are also kinda-sorta on board with drilling in the North Sea, but they're probably too busy virtue signaling themselves to actually get anything done.
Meanwhile, Fatih Birol from the International Energy Agency (who?) claims that new oil and gas fields won't help with energy security. Yeah, okay, buddy. Tell that to the Germans shivering in the dark because they shut down all their nuclear plants to appease Greta Thunberg. Mike Childs from Friends of the Earth (more like Enemies of Freedom) says that renewables are cheaper than oil. Sure, if you ignore the massive subsidies, the environmental destruction caused by mining rare earth minerals, and the fact that windmills turn the countryside into an eyesore.
So, here's the deal: these local elections are a chance to tell the eco-zealots to shove it. Vote for candidates who understand that energy security and economic prosperity are more important than saving the planet one virtue signal at a time. And remember, the only thing green about the Green party is their agenda to steal your money. Vote accordingly, lads.
