Georgia GOP Primaries: Two More Weeks of Clown World, Thanks Collins and Dooley!
The Georgia Senate primary is going to a runoff, meaning the establishment gets to drag this out longer and we STILL don't get to dunk on Ossoff yet. Sad!
ATLANTA – Well, folks, looks like the Georgia GOP Senate primary is heading to a runoff. Mike Collins and Derek Dooley couldn't quite seal the deal, meaning we're stuck with this circus for another few weeks. Great. Just great. While the libs chug soy lattes and celebrate 'democracy,' we're twiddling our thumbs waiting to finally take on that pajama boy, Jon Ossoff.
This whole shebang is just delaying the inevitable, isn't it? The longer the primary drags on, the more time Ossoff has to fundraise off the bluehairs and virtue signal about whatever the outrage of the day is. Meanwhile, we're stuck watching Collins and Dooley bicker over who's the more MAGA of the two. Spoiler alert: they both sound like they're reading from the same script written by some consultant in a DC think tank.
Expert analysis? Sure, here's some: This is all just a waste of time and money. The establishment loves this stuff, though. Keeps the donor class happy and the peasants distracted while they continue to enrich themselves. Drain the swamp? More like fill it with runoff water.
And don't even get me started on the media. They're having a field day with this 'intraparty strife' narrative. As if we didn't know the GOP was a clown car already. They're probably already writing the thinkpieces about how this is the end of the Republican Party or some other nonsense. Newsflash: we've been hearing that for years, and we're still here. Barely.
So, what's the play here? Buckle up, grab some popcorn, and watch these two try to out-conservative each other. It'll be hilarious, in a depressing sort of way. And maybe, just maybe, we'll finally get a candidate who can actually put up a fight against Ossoff. But don't hold your breath.
Honestly, I'm starting to think this is all part of some elaborate plot to keep Ossoff in office. The establishment GOP probably secretly loves him. He's predictable, he's harmless, and he's a great fundraising tool. Keeps those sweet, sweet donations flowing in. Deep state, much?
The real question is: Can either of these guys actually win? Can they appeal to the normies? Can they meme hard enough to reach the zoomers? Time will tell. But one thing's for sure: This is going to be a wild ride.
So, yeah, another two weeks of this. God help us all. MAGA? More like MAGA-ybe, if we're lucky.
