Eurocrat Snoops Find... Wait For It... *GASP*... Some Confusion Over Voter ID!
The usual suspects are clutching their pearls over voter ID in England, but it's just more manufactured outrage from the perpetually offended.

London - So, the perpetually outraged crowd is at it again. European 'observers' – because apparently, the Brits can't run their own elections without permission from Brussels – have 'discovered' that some people are confused about the new voter ID law. Shocker. You mean requiring people to prove who they are before voting is... confusing? Someone call the fainting couch.
This 'delegation' from the Council of Europe – a group about as relevant as a screen door on a submarine – spent their time worrying about Russian interference, even though no one seriously thinks Putin is rigging local council elections in Gorton. But hey, gotta justify the taxpayer-funded junket somehow, right?
These 'observers' are scheduled to release a report, which will undoubtedly whine about the 'oppression' of requiring photo ID. Expect lots of crocodile tears about 'disenfranchisement' and 'systemic racism.' Because apparently, only certain people are capable of obtaining a driver's license or passport. How patronizing can you get?
Our very own Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Steve Reed, met with these esteemed guests, probably while performing the mandatory ritualistic self-flagellation for being a white male. Labour and Green party representatives also joined in the fun, no doubt eager to amplify the narrative of 'voter suppression.'
These politicians from Ireland, Poland, Germany, Moldova, and other places probably spent more time figuring out how to expense their Michelin-star meals than actually observing anything. And their 'observations' led them to... drumroll please... Gorton and Denton, where some busybodies already whined about 'family voting' during a byelection. Turns out, the police found nothing. Color me surprised.
Jani Kokko, some Finnish parliamentarian who probably thinks socialism is the bee's knees, wants us to believe that his presence is vital because of 'foreign interference' and 'disinformation.' Okay, buddy. Maybe worry about your own country's collapsing birth rate before lecturing us on 'democracy.'
Apparently, the confusion over voter ID was centered in London, where some people couldn't figure out which official document they needed. Maybe they should spend less time virtue-signaling on Twitter and more time reading the instructions. Just a thought.
The Elections Act 2022, which requires photo ID, is a perfectly reasonable measure to prevent voter fraud. Sorry if that offends your delicate sensibilities. The fact that accepted forms of ID include a passport or driving license should be obvious to anyone who isn't completely brain-dead.
