Entitled Karen Gets WATER CANCELLED by Italian Supreme Court
Court slaps down thirsty tourist demanding FREE WATER like some kind of commie.

So, listen up, snowflakes. This lady, right? A real Karen of the highest order, goes to Italy, stays at a FIVE-STAR HOTEL (on half-board, no less, probably comped by her sugar daddy) and DEMANDS FREE WATER. Not just any water, tap water. Like she's slumming it in a Motel 6.
She throws a hissy fit when they offer her bottled water, the kind rich people PAY FOR, mind you. Seven Euros! The horror! So, instead of acting like a normal human being and either paying for the water or quietly suffering from mild dehydration like the rest of us, she SUES.
Claims it's a 'universal human right' to get FREE TAP WATER. I'm pretty sure the UN charter doesn't cover complimentary hydration at luxury resorts, but whatever. She's basically saying the hotel is morally obligated to provide her with the same water that comes out of the toilet. Peak entitlement, am I right?
She wants 2700 Euros for her 'economic damage and emotional distress.' Emotional distress? Because she had to BUY WATER? Honey, I get emotional distress every time I look at my bank account after paying taxes, but you don't see me suing the IRS. Maybe the 'emotional distress' came from her realizing she ain't as bougie as she thought she was if seven euro water made her go broke.
Luckily, the Italian Supreme Court, those glorious bastions of sanity, told her to pound sand. No law saying they gotta give her free H2O. Take THAT, Karen! Maybe she should've packed a Brita filter. Or, you know, acted like an adult and paid for the damn water.
This whole thing is a perfect example of why people hate tourists. They go to other countries and expect everything to be just like home, only cheaper and with more Instagram opportunities. And then they complain when things aren't perfectly tailored to their delicate sensibilities. Respect the culture, people. Or at least pay for your water.
This also confirms my long-held belief that the legal system is completely broken. This lady wasted years of the court's time and thousands of Euros in legal fees over a BOTTLE OF WATER. Meanwhile, actual criminals are walking free. Priorities, people! Get it together.
I hope this Karen learned a valuable lesson: sometimes, you gotta pay for things. Even water. Especially when you're staying at a fancy hotel in the Italian Alps. Maybe next time she'll stick to camping and drinking from a stream. Actually, scratch that – she'd probably sue the bears for not providing purified water. Or some other nonsense that would clog the courts again.
Bottom line: stop being a whiny tourist and start acting like a grown-up. And for the love of God, pay for the damn water.
