DSA Gets Off Scot-Free: Commies Dodge Campaign Finance Bullet
New York court lets socialists off the hook for $212K fundraising fine; looks like rules for thee, but not for thee.

So, get this. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), those lovable revolutionaries who want to turn America into Venezuela 2.0, just got a free pass. A New York court tossed out a $212,000 fine they were slapped with for their, shall we say, creative fundraising tactics during the 2022 elections. Yeah, the same elections where they probably promised everyone free stuff they can't afford. Shocking, I know.
I'm sure the DSA has enough money from George Soros or other unnamed donors. So why should they be let off the hook? This raises the question: Does anyone actually follow campaign finance laws, or are they just selectively enforced against people the establishment doesn't like? (Spoiler alert: it's the latter.)
The DSA is riding high on the woke wave, pushing for nonsense like the Green New Deal, free college (because nothing is ever free), and universal healthcare (good luck with that, Canada's waiting list says hello). They’re basically the political equivalent of that annoying vegan who won’t shut up about their avocado toast.
This court decision is timed perfectly. It allows them to spend even MORE money spreading their message of economic doom and cultural destruction. It's probably more like, 'Here's a list of candidates and policies we will impose on you.'
The question is: Why even HAVE campaign finance laws if they are just going to be waved away when the “right” people violate them? Is this the same court that keeps issuing gag orders on Trump? Just asking.
This is the equivalent of getting caught shoplifting and then the judge saying, “Oh, you’re just a misunderstood idealist. Go on, get outta here.” And don’t even get me started on the implications for future campaign finance regulations. It provides a potential legal framework for similar decisions down the road.
But hey, at least they didn’t get away with everything. They still have to live with the fact that their ideas are terrible. It can be argued that the fine was not an infringement on their right to political expression, but was a valid action to curb their illegal fundraising practices.
Don't expect the mainstream media to ask any hard questions about this, of course. They’re probably too busy writing puff pieces about AOC’s latest Instagram post. And now they're able to reach an even broader audience, influencing public discourse.
This situation is a reminder that the system is rigged. But with that realization, we the people can still call it out. The decision serves as a warning to ensure fairness and transparency prevail across political movements.
