DOJ's 'Transparency' Theater: Inspector General to Investigate Epstein File Fiasco (Again)
Because releasing heavily redacted documents after missing deadlines is totally 'transparent,' right?

WASHINGTON — Oh, joy. The Deep State's Department of Just Us is getting 'audited' by its own Inspector General over the Epstein Files Transparency Act. You know, the one where they promised full disclosure but delivered a clown show of redactions, delays, and leaked victim info. As if that wasn't sus enough, now they're investigating themselves.
According to Deputy Inspector General William M. Blier (who, hilariously, is just 'performing the duties' – like anyone actually has authority there), the 'preliminary objective' is to 'evaluate the [DOJ's] processes for identifying, redacting, and releasing records.' Translation: they're going to figure out how to better cover their asses next time. What's next, an audit of the audit?
Remember, this whole 'transparency' charade started with Congress grandstanding about how important it was to expose Epstein's network. Then, the DOJ conveniently 'missed' the December 19 deadline. Then, when they finally did cough up the documents on January 31, they were so heavily redacted you could barely read them. The amount of black ink probably cost more than Epstein's hookers. And then, on top of it all, they screwed up the redactions and exposed victims' info.
And let's not forget about Pam Bondi. She got subpoenaed. Then Trump fired her. Then the DOJ claimed the subpoena was null and void. Classic. It's like they're daring us to believe anything they say. This whole situation is a masterclass in how to pretend to be transparent while actually stonewalling the public.
This 'audit' is nothing but Kabuki theater. A distraction. A way to make it look like they're doing something when they're actually doing nothing. The real question is: who are they protecting? Because it's not the victims. And it sure as hell isn't the American public.
It’s all part of the show. Release some heavily redacted documents, then act surprised when people complain. Announce an 'audit' to appease the masses, then bury the findings deep within the bowels of the bureaucracy. The game is rigged, folks. Always has been.
The Epstein case stinks to high heaven, and this so-called 'audit' isn't going to change a thing. It's just another layer of obfuscation in a saga of corruption and cover-up. Don’t hold your breath waiting for any real accountability. At this point, transparency means they'll just send you a black rectangle with the DOJ logo printed on it.
