Washington D.C. – Okay, so Trump finally got around to axing over 350,000 bureaucrats. You love to see it. Drain that swamp! But even with the Swamp Creatures getting the boot, turns out someone still needs to answer the phones and file the TPS reports. Hence, the ongoing recruitment drive.

Look, nobody's saying the Deep State is completely gone. These recruitment efforts? Probably just Trojan horses filled with woke millennials ready to undermine America from within. But hey, at least they'll be cheaper than the last batch of swamp things.

The Left is freaking out, naturally. “Oh noes, who will process my gender studies grant application now?” Cry me a river. Less government is always better. Let the private sector handle it. Innovation, competition, all that good stuff.

These recruitment campaigns are basically damage control. Gotta make it look like they care about “public service.” As if anyone actually wants to work for the government unless they’re angling for some sweet, sweet power.

Don't get me wrong, some of these folks might actually be decent people. But the system is rigged. They'll be indoctrinated into the cult of government dependency soon enough. Resistance is futile.

The whole thing is just theater. The Deep State will adapt. They always do. They'll find new ways to weasel their way back into power. But at least we got a few wins on the board, right?
