Clown World Accelerates: Commie Slate Sweeps NYC Primaries as Trump Drops Truth Bombs
An activist who literally used the US flag as a napkin is headed to Congress after defeating a five-term incumbent in deep-blue New York.

Well, lads, New York City has officially gone full clown world. In a hilarious display of left-wing accelerationism, three radical socialist candidates backed by the city’s resident socialist Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, just absolutely wiped the floor with establishment Democrats in their congressional primaries. Because these districts are so blue they’re practically cobalt, these absolute wildcards now have a completely free pass straight to the halls of Congress.
President Donald Trump immediately logged onto Truth Social to drop some absolute heat on the situation, treating the entire spectacle with the mock-seriousness it deserves. "Many Communists running in badly failing Blue States," Trump posted, likely while laughing. "The votes seem to have them doing quite well against each other. The bad news is that history has conclusively shown that the downtrodden States that they will soon be running will ONLY GET WORSE. MAGA!" Trump’s post came fresh off his appearance on the White House South Lawn on June 14, 2026, where he was busy watching UFC fights while New York Democrats were busy imploding.
The undisputed star of this political circus is Darializa Avila Chevalier, who secured a victory in New York’s 13th Congressional District. She managed to boot 71-year-old, five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat—notable for being the first former illegal alien in Congress—by three and a half points. Avila Chevalier ran on a peak progressive activist platform: abolishing ICE, ending all deportations, and giving everyone socialized healthcare.
But the real comedy is in Avila Chevalier’s internet footprint. Her past social media posts are a goldmine of pure, unadulterated activist cringe. She openly advocated for the government to seize private property, called former President Joe Biden a "rapist," hurled explicit curses at former Vice President Kamala Harris, and demanded that the police be completely abolished. Just to top it off, she called America a "f-----g disgrace" and literally bragged about using the American flag as a napkin. When a news anchor actually had the audacity to read her own tweets back to her during a live interview, she did what any mature future congresswoman would do: she rage-quit and walked out of the studio. Naturally, Bernie Sanders and Mayor Mamdani still showed up to hold her hand at a King's Theater rally on June 18, 2026.
Over in the 7th Congressional District, Claire Valdez won her primary in an absolute landslide. Valdez, who currently spends her time as a State Representative for District 37, is another card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). She is set to occupy the seat of retiring Representative Nydia Velázquez. The NPCs of NYC have officially upgraded their software to full communism.
Then we have Brad Lander in the 10th Congressional District. Lander is a progressive who used to belong to the DSA but had to abandon ship in 2023. Apparently, even he found it a bit too spicy when the DSA reacted to the October 7 Hamas massacre—which killed 1,200 Israelis—by basically cheering it on. The DSA still insists Israel's response is a "genocide" and keeps anti-Israel activism as their entire personality, but Lander managed to secure his primary win anyway.
Establishment analysts are totally losing their minds over this. Rachel Bovard warned that this "growing movement" is no longer just a bunch of online weirdos; they are now the actual Democratic establishment. According to Bovard, these radicals are actively pushing to delete the U.S. Senate and the Supreme Court because those institutions keep getting in the way of their socialist utopia.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who spent his entire term beefing with Trump, celebrated this absolute disaster as a "new chapter" for the Democratic Party. It’s certainly a new chapter, alright—one where the comedy writes itself. With these three locked and loaded for Washington, the content for the next legislative session is going to be absolutely legendary. Buckle up.
