Chile Goes Full MAGA: Digging Trenches to Own the Libs (and Illegals)
Based President Kast is building a freaking moat on the border, triggering lefties while securing the bag for Chile.
ARICA, Chile — Alright, folks, gather 'round and witness peak based behavior. Chile's new president, José Antonio Kast, is out here channeling his inner Trump and building a freaking trench on the border with Peru and Bolivia. That's right, they're digging a MOAT, baby! The left is seething, the NGOs are clutching their pearls, and Kast is just out here making Chile great again.
Remember when Trump promised a wall? Well, Kast is delivering a trench – and honestly, it's probably more effective. Forget your virtue signaling and open borders nonsense, this is about protecting Chile from the hordes of illegal immigrants, drug smugglers, and assorted riff-raff trying to sneak across the border. The same riff raff that would dilute Chilean values and strain resources.
Cristián Sayes, Kast's delegate in the northernmost administrative region, says the goal is "constant control of the border" to stop all the bad stuff. Duh. But it's not just a ditch, oh no. They're adding thermal cameras, radar, drones with facial recognition, the whole nine yards. It's like something out of a dystopian sci-fi movie, but for real, and designed to keep the undesirables out.
Of course, the usual suspects are crying foul. “Human rights!” they scream. “It's inhumane!” they wail. But let's be real: what's inhumane is allowing unchecked illegal immigration to destabilize a country and drain its resources. Kast isn't playing games. He threatened to deport 336,000 illegals during his campaign, and while he's only booted out 40 so far, it's a start. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a secure border. (Although, arguably, Rome DID fall because they couldn't secure their borders...just sayin').
And let's not forget the historical context. This isn't just some random border. There are still tank traps and anti-tank mines from the 70s laying around. Chile knows a thing or two about protecting its territory, and they're not about to let some woke nonsense stop them now.
So, while the left is busy clutching their pearls and writing think pieces about the “moral implications” of border security, Kast is out here building a sovereign Chile. He's not afraid to be called names, he's not afraid to take action, and he's definitely not afraid to own the libs.
And you know what? It's working. Illegal border crossings are already down. Maybe, just maybe, actually securing your borders is a good thing. Who knew? So keep seething, lefties. Kast is too busy digging ditches and protecting Chile to care about your feelings.
