CENTCOM's 'Project Freedom': Moar Wars? Less Gas Prices? Doubt.
Swamp creatures at CENTCOM roll out 'Project Freedom' in Hormuz – because nothing says 'freedom' like another Middle East entanglement.

TAMPA, FL – Alright, folks, CENTCOM's back at it again with a shiny new label for the same old song and dance: 'Project Freedom.' Apparently, the best way to secure 'freedom' is by stirring up more dust in the Strait of Hormuz, which, last I checked, is nowhere near American soil.
According to CENTCOM mouthpiece Tim Hawkins, the plan involves securing 'safe routes' and 'blockading Iran.' Translation: babysitting oil tankers and poking the bear (or is it the ayatollah?) with a stick. Sounds like a recipe for absolutely nothing good.
Reminder: every time some pencil-pusher in D.C. dreams up a 'project' for the Middle East, it usually ends with trillions of taxpayer dollars vanishing into a black hole, thousands of brave young men and women coming home in body bags, and absolutely zero tangible improvements to anyone's actual lives. But hey, at least the military-industrial complex gets a nice bonus, amirite?
The whole 'safe routes' thing is hilarious when you consider who exactly is threatening those routes in the first place. Hint: it ain't Canada. And the 'blockading Iran' part? Well, that's just asking for a showdown. Cue the pearl-clutching from the 'experts' as they blame everything but the actual boneheads who keep escalating tensions in the first place.
Meanwhile, back in reality, gas prices are still sky-high, inflation is eating away at our paychecks, and the southern border is about as secure as Hunter Biden's laptop. But sure, let's focus on 'Project Freedom' in Hormuz. Makes perfect sense. (Narrator: It doesn't.)
I'm not saying we should just abandon the Middle East entirely. But maybe, just maybe, we could try a different approach. Like, I dunno, not constantly meddling in other people's affairs? Or focusing on securing our own damn borders for once? Just a thought.
And the irony of calling it 'Project Freedom' when it's all about securing oil supplies? Pure unadulterated gaslighting. Freedom for whom? ExxonMobil? The Saudis? Wake me up when we're actually fighting for our freedom, not some corporate bottom line.
Bottom line: 'Project Freedom' smells like another boondoggle in the making. Don't expect lower gas prices, don't expect more stability, and definitely don't expect the swamp to suddenly start acting in the best interests of the American people. Sad but true.
And remember, the next time you hear some politician or talking head yammering about 'national security' in the Middle East, just ask yourself: who's really benefiting from all this? Hint: it's probably not you.
