Ceasefire? More Like Clown World: Iran Shuts Down Strait, Israel Goes Brrr
The Forever Wars™ continue as Iran throws a tantrum and Israel reminds everyone who really runs things.

Another day, another dollar, another potential ceasefire going up in smoke. Turns out, peace in the Middle East is about as likely as a balanced budget in Washington. Iran, bless their hearts, decided to slam the door on the Strait of Hormuz again because Israel is doing what Israel does in Lebanon. You know, keeping the neighborhood honest (allegedly).
The Strait of Hormuz, that little choke point where all the oil has to squeeze through, is now apparently closed for business. Thanks, Ayatollahs! Hope you enjoy your sanctions. Meanwhile, Israel is busy reminding everyone in Lebanon (and beyond) that they have a pretty good air force and aren't afraid to use it. It's like a geopolitical game of whack-a-mole, except the moles have missiles and the mallet is a JDAM.
Remember when everyone thought Trump was going to start World War III? Good times. Now we're back to the usual state of low-grade simmering conflict that could boil over at any moment. Thanks, Brandon! Remember when Obama gave the mullahs pallets of cash? What did they do with it? Build hospitals? Nah, bought more rockets.
All this talk about ceasefires is just virtue signaling anyway. Nobody actually wants peace. Peace is boring. War is profitable. Follow the money, people! Lockheed Martin loves this stuff.
So, what's the solution? Nuke 'em all and let God sort it out? Probably not. But maybe stop sending billions in foreign aid to countries that hate us? Just a thought. Or at least demand some results for our investment. Like, say, not closing down vital international waterways. That'd be a start.
Maybe it's time to unleash the free market on the Middle East. Privatize the whole thing. Let Elon Musk figure it out. He's already got Starlink. Maybe he can build a Death Star, too. Just spitballing here.
The real question is, how much is this going to cost us at the pump? Because that's all anyone really cares about. As long as gas prices stay below $10 a gallon, we can all pretend everything's fine. Until then, keep calm and carry on… buying ammo.
