Blue State Blues: Unionized Nursing Homes in Cali Get Owned by Basic Ratings
Turns out, sticking with the Dem Party ain't gonna save your failing nursing home ratings, libs!

SACRAMENTO, CA - Okay, folks, buckle up, because the commies in California just got served a cold dish of reality. A new report dropped, and it's hilarious: unionized nursing homes are tanking when it comes to quality ratings. And guess who's behind a lot of that unionization? The SEIU, aka the Dem Party's sugar daddy.
So, here's the deal. The Center for Union Facts (CUF), those right-wing truth-tellers, did some digging. They found that California nursing homes with unionized staff are getting their asses kicked by the non-union shops in the CMS ratings game. We're talking about a 10% difference, even after they tried to blame it on income disparities. LOL.
The CMS, that's the government overlords in charge of Medicare and Medicaid, gives nursing homes a star rating based on inspections, staffing, and how well they treat the poor souls stuck in those places. Turns out, when the SEIU rolls in and starts strong-arming everyone, the quality goes down the toilet. Who would have guessed?
Non-union homes are cruising at a solid 3.17 stars, while the union thugs are dragging down the average to 3.02. And the SEIU Local 2015? They're scraping the bottom with a pathetic 2.86. Maybe instead of extorting dues from hardworking folks, they should focus on, ya know, actually providing decent care. Just a thought.
The CUF report dared to suggest that maybe, just maybe, the SEIU's shady internal culture and workplace drama might have something to do with this mess. But hey, who needs quality care when you've got woke virtue signaling to do?
Now, of course, the lefties will whine that this is all about underfunding and evil corporations. But the numbers don't lie. The union is the problem, not the solution. They bleed these places dry with their demands and then can't deliver the goods. Classic.
This isn't some isolated incident either. The CUF pointed out that SEIU-unionized hospitals also got their ratings clobbered compared to non-union ones. It's almost like there's a pattern here. A pattern of incompetence and corruption. Shocker.
The report even brought up that Chaquan May situation, where some long-term care worker claimed she was strong-armed by the union. But the left will say that never happened and is probably just some right-wing conspiracy theory.
So, what's the takeaway? Don't trust the unions. Don't trust the Dems. And definitely don't put your grandma in a unionized nursing home in California. You've been warned.
The SEIU did not respond to a request for comment because they probably have more important things to do than address these facts, like plotting the next strike. Remember, the left thinks they know best but really they just ruin everything they touch. Sad!
