Bezos' Space Dream Goes Up in Smoke: Another Woke Corporation Bites the Dust?
Turns out throwing money at rockets doesn't guarantee success, especially when you're virtue-signaling to the woke mob.
So, Bezos' Blue Origin had a little oopsie on the launchpad. A rocket went boom. Shocking, I know. Especially after all that virtue signaling they’ve been doing. Turns out, pandering to the woke mob doesn't guarantee you can defy gravity. Maybe they should have focused on engineering instead of pronouns. I'm just saying.
Musk, meanwhile, is probably laughing all the way to Mars. While Bezos is busy worrying about diversity quotas and climate change, Musk is actually building rockets that, you know, work. It's almost like focusing on competence and innovation actually matters. Who knew?
This whole space race thing is basically a pissing contest between two billionaires with too much money. But at least Musk is giving us something cool in the process. Bezos just wants to sell you space tourism so you can feel good about yourself while simultaneously destroying the planet. Give me a break.
And let's be honest, Blue Origin was never really a serious contender anyway. They've been coasting on Bezos' money and a whole lot of hype. This explosion just exposed them for what they are: a glorified vanity project. Now they'll probably blame climate change or something. Anything but their own incompetence.
The FAA will probably be all over this, which means more regulations and more red tape. Because that's always the solution, right? Stifle innovation with bureaucracy. Meanwhile, China is probably building a moon base as we speak. Thanks, woke corporations!
I'm not saying space exploration is bad. I'm just saying maybe we should leave it to the people who are actually good at it. And maybe we should stop pretending that billionaires are our saviors. They're just rich people trying to get richer. And sometimes, they blow up rockets in the process. What else is new?
This whole thing is a metaphor for the state of America, right? We're so busy worrying about the wrong things that we're losing our competitive edge. We're sacrificing competence at the altar of wokeness. And then we wonder why we're falling behind. Wake up, sheeple!
Maybe it's time to stop funding these corporate virtue-signaling space cadets and invest in something that actually benefits the American people. Like, I don't know, securing the border or fixing our infrastructure. But that would be too logical, wouldn't it?
