ASEAN Summit: Globalists Sip Chardonnay While Filipinos Pay $7/Gallon
The elites gather in the Philippines while regular folks get rekt by rising fuel prices – who's surprised?
Manila, Philippines - Another day, another globalist gabfest. The ASEAN summit has kicked off in the Philippines, and guess what? The peasants are revolting – or at least, grumbling – about the price of gas. Surprise! While these 'leaders' pat themselves on the back for saving the planet with their virtue signaling, the average Juan is getting fleeced at the pump.
Fuel costs are soaring, and Filipinos are feeling the pinch. But don't expect the ASEAN bigwigs to address this. They're too busy discussing 'regional security' – which, let's be honest, probably involves figuring out how to extract more resources from their countries while lining their own pockets. It's always the same song and dance, and we're all forced to watch.
Remember when they told us 'globalization' would bring prosperity to everyone? Turns out, it only benefits the multinational corporations and the Davos set. Ordinary people can barely afford to drive to work. Thanks, globalists!
The solution? Ditch the green new deal nonsense. Drill, baby, drill. Unleash the energy sector and stop letting Greta Thunberg dictate economic policy. And maybe, just maybe, start prioritizing the needs of your own citizens instead of virtue signaling to the rest of the world.
And stop with the summits. What good do they even do? A bunch of bureaucrats flying around in private jets, eating fancy food, and patting each other on the back. It's a complete waste of taxpayer money. Seriously, how many photo ops and virtue signals does it take before somebody realizes how utterly useless these people are?
Don't hold your breath waiting for real solutions. These clowns are too busy patting themselves on the back for saving the planet (while conveniently ignoring their own carbon footprint). Meanwhile, ordinary Filipinos are struggling to make ends meet. It's a joke, but nobody's laughing anymore.
The Philippine government needs to get off its backside and do something about the price of fuel. Subsidies? Tax breaks? I don't care. Just do something. And maybe, just maybe, start listening to the people who are actually affected by these policies. It shouldn't be hard, but given the average politician's disconnect from reality, I'm not holding my breath.
They should bring back cheap oil and let people live their lives normally instead of pushing climate change agenda BS on them.
They should be ashamed of themselves. But they aren't, because these kinds of people have no shame.
This just shows you how detached the global elite are from reality, like that Gavin Newsom French Laundry meme. We need to put them in their place and restore common sense to the government.
It's time to wake up and smell the tyranny – and the exhaust fumes from your gas-guzzling SUV. Because the ASEAN summit certainly won't do anything about it, except create more problems than they solve.
The elites convene while regular folks get rekt by rising fuel prices, surprise surprise.
