Another Day, Another Deadly Reminder That Open Borders Are Bad, M'kay?
Guatemalan dude pleads guilty after his human piñata truck exploded, reminding us that maybe, just maybe, having a functional border isn't racist after all.

LAREDO, Texas – So, this Guatemalan fella, Daniel Zavala Ramos, finally copped a plea in that whole exploding migrant truck fiasco down in Mexico back in 2021. Remember that one? Over 50 poor souls turned into human salsa after the truck they were crammed into like sardines hit a bridge support. Good times. Well, not for them, obviously.
Turns out, Ramos was one of the masterminds behind this delightful little operation to shuttle migrants from Guatemala through Mexico to the promised land – aka, the US of A. He's facing life in the clink, which is probably less cramped than that truck was. Irony, amirite?
But let's not kid ourselves. Ramos isn't some lone wolf evil genius. He's just a symptom of the real problem: open borders and virtue-signaling politicians who think enforcing immigration laws is somehow akin to ethnic cleansing. Newsflash: it's not. It's called having a country, and countries generally like to know who's coming in and out.
The DOJ is all proud that they got one guy. Good for them. But there are five more just waiting to see how this plays out before laughing and getting back to work. The whole system's broken. We're basically running a global human trafficking operation, subsidized by American taxpayers and fueled by the naive belief that everyone deserves to live here, regardless of their background, skills, or criminal history.
Remember those unaccompanied children? Turns out, these fine upstanding citizens were giving them scripts to recite if they got caught. Real heartwarming stuff. I bet the Biden administration's gonna give them a medal. Diversity is our strength, right?
This isn't about hating immigrants. It's about common sense. It's about national security. It's about not letting criminal cartels run rampant across our borders. It's about having a system that actually benefits the American people, instead of lining the pockets of smugglers and enriching corporations who exploit cheap labor.
So, yeah, Ramos is going to jail. But until we get serious about border security, until we deport illegal aliens, and until we stop rewarding lawlessness, this kind of tragedy will keep happening. And the next time, it might be in your backyard. Just sayin'.
Maybe it's time to build that wall, eh? Before we end up with more human salsa on our hands. Remember when they said the wall was immoral? Morality is dead when 53 people die for it
