25 Years Later, WTC Steel Lands at Bush's 'Pet Goat' School: Still Ownin' the Libs?
A 9/11 artifact arrives in Sarasota, reminding us of simpler times when the biggest problem was a poorly-read children's book and not, like, everything else.

Sarasota, FL - So, a steel beam from the World Trade Center showed up at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. You know, the place where Dubya was reading “The Pet Goat” when the sky fell. Talk about a throwback Thursday – or rather, a Throwback Tuesday, since that’s when this shindig happened. Courtesy of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, because somebody’s gotta keep the memory alive, right? Before the libs try to memory-hole it.
Andy Card, the dude who whispered the bad news to Bush, was there. Probably reminiscing about when the biggest national crisis was deciding whether or not to interrupt story time. Simpler times. Now we’re arguing about pronouns and the definition of “woman.” But I digress.
The whole thing’s part of the “Steel Across America” tour, which sounds like a country song title. Basically, they’re hauling around a chunk of the WTC so everyone remembers that time Islamic terrorists attacked us. Not that the woke crowd wants you to remember that, mind you. Gotta protect Islam from criticism, even if it means erasing history.
The school's got a 9/11 section in its library, complete with the original “Pet Goat” book. That poor goat. Forever immortalized as the symbol of presidential cluelessness. But hey, at least Bush didn't blame the attack on climate change, right?
Sandra Kay Daniels, the former second-grade teacher, was also on hand. Probably wondering if she’ll ever escape being known as “that 9/11 teacher.” Imagine having that on your resume.
Let's be real, though. This is all about nostalgia. Back when America was united against a common enemy. Before everyone started fighting over everything. Before woke ideology infected every corner of society. Before… well, you get the picture. MAGA.
The Left will probably find some way to spin this into something problematic. Maybe they’ll say it’s insensitive to Muslims. Or that it perpetuates American exceptionalism. Or that Bush was totally responsible for the attacks because… reasons. Who knows? They’re always good for a conspiracy theory or two.
But for the rest of us, it’s a reminder of a time when America was strong, resilient, and not afraid to punch back. A time when we didn't apologize for being awesome. A time when the only thing people were triggered by was bad children's literature. Now, where's my Make America Great Again hat?
So, yeah, a piece of 9/11 history landed in Florida. Hopefully, it'll serve as a reminder that some things are worth fighting for. And that maybe, just maybe, we can get back to being a country that puts America first. Before the socialists and the globalists ruin everything.
And remember, folks: Never forget. And always own the libs.
We will never forget. But we will also make memes.
Maybe they should bring the steel beam to a college campus next. That’d be a hoot.
