LULING, La. – So, a priest gets the spicy cough down in Texas, and suddenly Our Lady of Guadalupe chapel in Luling, Louisiana, is scrambling to scrub him from existence like he's a Jan 6th attendee. Anthony Odiong, the guy who basically built the place, got convicted of… wait for it… "exploiting his spiritual authority." Translation: he allegedly boned some broads who were into the whole God thing. The woke scolds are winning again, fellas.

Look, I'm not saying he's innocent. Maybe he's a creep. Maybe the women are telling the truth. But the immediate rush to erase him? That's pure, unadulterated virtue signaling. The chapel is so eager to prove they're not, like, totally gross, they're chucking a founder under the bus faster than Biden forgets what day it is.

And the irony? The names of two of his alleged victims still outside the chapel. So, they're happy to exploit their suffering for PR points, but the dude who raised $600,000 to build the joint gets the memory-hole treatment. Makes sense.

Of course, the Archdiocese of New Orleans had already bent the knee, suspending Odiong back in 2023 after the whispers started. And let's not forget his based take on the alphabet people, which probably didn't help his case in the current year. Can't have any dissent from the approved narrative, can we?

The Guardian and WWL Louisiana – two paragons of journalistic integrity (lol) – ran sob stories from his accusers, further fueling the outrage machine. And now, here we are, with black tape covering up every mention of his name, like he's some kind of historical revisionist.

This is what happens when you let the libs set the agenda. You end up with institutions cowering in fear of the Twitter mob, sacrificing anyone and everyone to appease the perpetually offended. The Catholic Church, once a bastion of tradition, is now just another corporation desperate to avoid a hashtag campaign.

So, what's the lesson here? Don't build churches, I guess. Or, if you do, make sure you're squeaky clean and perfectly aligned with the current year's social justice fad, or you'll be scrubbed from history faster than you can say "Hail Mary." And, more importantly, never give the left an inch, because they will take everything.
