A mural honoring Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee who caught a fatal shank to the gut in North Carolina (thanks, soft-on-crime policies!), got yeeted from its spot outside some LGBTQ+ club called The Dark Lady. Turns out, remembering a victim of leftist policies is now “divisive.”

Mayor Buttplug Jr., aka Brett Smiley, whined that the mural's “misguided, isolating intent” didn't represent Providence. Translation: it reminded people that Democrats are colossal failures at keeping people safe. Gotta protect that narrative, amirite?

Of course, this whole thing reeks of hypocrisy. The same libs who virtue signal about “diversity and inclusion” are now actively erasing the memory of a woman who fled a warzone, only to be offed in a Democrat-run city. Talk about tone deaf.

And let’s not forget who funded this mural in the first place. We're talking about Eoghan McCabe and based-god Elon Musk. Musk, bless his heart, threw a million bucks at this project. But apparently, having the wrong billionaires supporting you is now a cancelable offense.

Narragansett Republican Party Chairman Anthony D'Ellena nailed it: "This is exactly what Democrats do – they try to erase the memory of their victims." Preach, brother. They’d rather sweep the consequences of their disastrous policies under the rug than admit they screwed up.
