Woke AI Saves Us From Woke Software? Anthropic's 'Mythos' Finds All The Bugs
Turns out the AI overlords are gonna be our cyber-janitors – who saw that coming?

Okay, so Anthropic, another one of these San Francisco AI labs run by people who probably think pronouns are more important than profits, has a new AI, Claude Mythos. Apparently, it's a bug-finding god. Like, it's found vulnerabilities in software that's been around since before Y2K. Bet those devs are polishing up their resumes.
So, the deal is, Mythos is so good at finding holes in the digital drywall that Anthropic is too scared to release it to the public. They're worried some basement-dwelling script kiddie will weaponize it and bring the whole system down. Which, honestly, wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to this clown world.
Instead, they're giving it to the usual suspects – CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft – the guys who already have all the data and power. It's like giving the fox the keys to the henhouse, but with extra steps and a lot of virtue signaling.
And get this, the oldest vulnerability Mythos found is 27 years old. TWENTY-SEVEN. That's like, pre-internet years. You're telling me nobody noticed this until now? Maybe they were too busy crafting DEI statements and virtue signaling to actually, you know, secure their code. Peak clown world.
Anthropic is calling this Project Glasswing. Sounds like something out of a bad sci-fi movie. Maybe the AI is going to use the vulnerabilities to reprogram us all into docile, soy-chugging conformists. Nah, that's already happening organically.
Cisco's Chief Security and Trust Officer, Anthony Grieco, is quoted as saying, "AI capabilities have crossed a threshold that fundamentally changes the urgency required to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats, and there is no going back." Dude, we've been saying this for years. Welcome to the party, pal. Also, maybe stop using so many buzzwords.
Honestly, I'm half expecting this whole thing to be a giant psyop. Maybe Anthropic is just trying to scare us into giving them more money. Or maybe they're building a giant AI army to enslave humanity. Either way, it's probably not good.
But hey, at least the AI is finding bugs in the woke software that's slowly turning us all into brain-dead zombies. Maybe, just maybe, the robots will save us from ourselves. Until then, stay paranoid, stay skeptical, and don't trust anything that comes out of Silicon Valley.
