Trump Picks FEMA Guy He Fired, LOL. Bureaucracy Never Dies.
Deep State wins again: Trump nominates guy he canned for opposing FEMA abolition. Prepare for more government 'help'.

Okay, so Trump nominates this dude, Cameron Hamilton, to head FEMA. Remember FEMA? The folks who can't find bottled water after a hurricane but are REAL good at wasting taxpayer money? Yeah, that FEMA. Apparently, Hamilton was the acting head honcho, got the boot for being against, get this, abolishing the whole damn thing. Because apparently, Trump wanted to drain that swamp a little further.
So now we're back to square one. Trump's pick is some guy who clearly likes his government job a little too much. The guy he fired, no less. What's next, Hillary for VP? The swamp is undefeated. You can't drain it, you can only pollute it more.
I mean, seriously, what are we even doing here? FEMA is basically a jobs program disguised as disaster relief. Throwing money at problems is always the go-to solution. Nevermind that local communities are perfectly capable of handling emergencies themselves. But no, gotta have the feds swoop in and 'help'.
And don't even get me started on the confirmation hearings. Get ready for weeks of virtue signaling from virtue signaling senators, grandstanding politicians, and self-important talking heads. They'll grill Hamilton about his views on climate change, diversity, and inclusion. Because that's totally relevant to, you know, handing out tarps after a tornado.
Meanwhile, the national debt keeps climbing, the border is still a sieve, and the woke mob is busy tearing down statues. But hey, at least we'll have a well-funded FEMA to 'help' us when the next earthquake hits.
Frankly, I'm starting to think the whole thing is a joke. The government is too big, too bloated, and too incompetent to do anything right. They can't even handle basic functions like securing the border or balancing the budget. But sure, let's trust them to manage disaster relief. Right.
So, get ready for more of the same. More government waste, more bureaucratic incompetence, and more empty promises. Because that's what you get when you let the swamp creatures run the show. The only thing that changes is the names on the org chart, but the game remains the same: funneling your money to friends and donors under the guise of 'public service'.
It is interesting to think this move may simply be to avoid dealing with FEMA altogether. Maybe President Trump thinks this move will alleviate some of the public's pressure for a solution to the natural disaster problem. Either way, he clearly isn't too concerned with whether this man truly deserves the position.
The Leftists will celebrate this as a win for 'stability' and 'expertise.' Conservatives will gnash their teeth and lament the failure of 'limited government.' And the rest of us will just shrug and keep paying our taxes, knowing that none of this really matters. The system is rigged, the game is fixed, and the only thing you can do is sit back and watch the circus burn. Buckle up, buttercups. It's gonna be a bumpy ride. And make sure you have a basement full of canned goods, just in case FEMA can't find you.
This can only be summed up with a resounding 'cringe'.
