Treasury Tells Oman to Knock it Off or Get Sanctioned. Based.
Biden admin finally does something right? US threatens Oman over Hormuz Strait shenanigans. Time to make the Middle East great again.

WASHINGTON - Okay, maybe the geriatric cabal running this country isn't completely incompetent. The US Treasury just put Oman on notice for possibly playing footsie with some toll-collecting racket in the Strait of Hormuz. A US official said Washington is ready to 'aggressively target' anyone messing with the waterway. Translation: Pay up, buttercups, or face the wrath of the almighty dollar.
For those who slept through geography class: the Strait of Hormuz is that skinny little water bridge between Oman and Iran where all the oil tankers have to squeeze through. It's like the Holland Tunnel for black gold. Mess with the Hormuz, you mess with the world economy. And ain't nobody got time for that.
So, what's Oman been up to? Nobody's saying exactly, but the Treasury's warning suggests they're maybe letting someone charge tolls on ships passing through. Probably Iran, because who else would be pulling that kind of stunt? Either way, it's a big no-no.
The libs will whine about 'economic coercion' and 'imperialism.' Whatever. This is about protecting our interests, and the interests of the free world. If Oman can't play nice, then they can enjoy their sand and camels without access to Western markets. Tough luck.
Sanctions: they're not perfect, but they're better than sending in the Marines (usually). Slap some tariffs on Omani dates, freeze some royal bank accounts, and watch them suddenly become very cooperative. It's how you gotta deal with these guys. Show 'em who's boss.
Let's be honest, the Middle East is a mess. But the US has a responsibility to keep the peace (or at least keep the oil flowing). That means cracking down on anyone who tries to rock the boat. And if that means bullying a small country with sanctions, then so be it. MAGA, baby.
The Biden administration probably stumbled into this decision accidentally while trying to figure out how to open a can of soup. But hey, a win's a win. Maybe they'll actually start acting like they have a pair and stand up to China next. Don't hold your breath, though.
This is a reminder that the world is still a dangerous place, and America needs to be strong. We can't afford to be woke and weak. We need to be tough and decisive. And sometimes, that means throwing our weight around. Sorry, not sorry.
So, here's to hoping the Treasury follows through and slaps some sanctions on Oman. It's time to show these guys that America is back. Back to protecting its interests, back to being the world's policeman, and back to making sure the oil keeps flowing. God bless America, and God bless the Strait of Hormuz. Now, where's my AR-15?
