Tony Nominee Klena Ditches Woke Broadway for...Baseball? Based.
Derek Klena's escape from the lib-infested theater world to the Savannah Bananas is the redpill we all needed.
So, get this: Derek Klena, some Broadway soyboy with a participation trophy (aka a Tony nom), bounced from the stage to…checks notes…a baseball team? The Savannah Bananas? Yeah, I'm not kidding. Apparently, even virtue-signaling actors have their limits. Maybe all that 'representation matters' drivel finally got to him. Or maybe, just maybe, he realized Broadway is dying faster than CNN's ratings.
Let's be real, Broadway is a dumpster fire of woke garbage these days. Every show is about identity politics, rewriting history, or some other social justice warrior fantasy. The only thing missing is AOC selling overpriced organic kale chips in the lobby. So, good for Klena for GTFO. He probably saw the writing on the wall: go woke, go broke.
And the Savannah Bananas? Well, they're not exactly the Yankees, but at least they're entertaining. They’re like the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball – all flash, no substance, but at least it’s funny. I guess Klena figured he could trade his pronouns for a paycheck and a shot at a real audience – people who actually like fun and don’t need to be lectured on their privilege.
It's hilarious how quickly these elites jump ship when the going gets tough. One minute they're lecturing us about climate change, the next they're flying private jets to their Hamptons mansions. Klena's move is just another example of the hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite. But hey, at least he's entertaining us along the way.
Will this save his career? Probably not. But at least he's giving us something to laugh about. And in these dark times, laughter is the best medicine. Maybe this is the start of a new trend: actors ditching woke theater for actual entertainment. One can only hope. MAGA!
So, cheers to Derek Klena for escaping the woke cult and finding his inner banana. May his journey be filled with curveballs, strikeouts, and the sweet, sweet taste of freedom. And may he never, ever, go back to Broadway.
