The Great Uncoupling: MTG and Tucker Carlson Blackpill on the GOP
The 'America Last' establishment is in shambles as two of its biggest stars officially exit the Republican clown show ahead of the midterms.

It looks like the GOP brand is officially toxic for the people who actually built its modern base. In a massive double-tap to party unity, former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and media heavyweight Tucker Carlson have officially declared they are done carrying water for the Republican Party. With the midterm elections looming, this isn't just a minor disagreement—it's a complete rejection of the political establishment.
Carlson dropped the first red pill during a guest appearance on the Can’t Be Censored podcast, flatly stating there was "no chance" he would support the GOP anymore. For those keeping track at home, Tucker has been a loyal defender of the party for 35 years. He made sure to clarify that he isn't about to go full leftist either, stating, "Not gonna support the Democratic party." He’s just entirely out of the Republican game, and he warned that if he's done, a massive chunk of the base is going to walk out right behind him.
MTG wasted no time jumping into the chat to confirm she’s on the exact same page. In a social media post, she let it rip, writing that she and a massive number of voters are "absolutely fed up" with a party that "betrays its voters and country." She echoed Tucker’s sentiment that this doesn't mean they’re joining the Democrats, but made it crystal clear: they are completely finished with the "America LAST Republican Party."
So what broke the camel's back? For starters, the economy is a complete disaster and the party isn't doing anything about it. Both Carlson and Greene are calling out the administration's failure to handle inflation while consumer prices continue to outpace wage growth. While regular people get squeezed, the establishment is apparently more interested in funding foreign entanglements than fixing domestic issues.
Then there's the foreign policy situation, which Tucker has been blasting for months. He’s sick of the U.S. getting dragged into overseas conflicts, specifically pointing his finger at Israel for pushing Washington toward a war with Iran. Tucker even revealed that Trump promised him face-to-face in the Oval Office last year that he wouldn't go to war with Iran. The fact that we are still sliding toward conflict led Tucker to admit he is "tormented" by his past support for Trump, regretting the ways he helped him get elected.
Meanwhile, MTG's relationship with the MAGA kingpin completely imploded over—of all things—the Jeffrey Epstein files. MTG dared to criticize how the administration was handling the government's records on the dead sex offender and his high-society friends. Instead of getting transparency, she got the boot. Trump started calling her Marjorie "Traitor" Greene, and the MAGA faithful turned on her. It got so toxic that she decided not to run for re-election, stepping down from Congress at the start of the year.
