Tennessee Tries, Fails to Juice a Dude: Execution Botched
Incompetent state officials can't even manage to poke a vein right, delaying justice for a triple homicide.

Nashville, TN - So, Tennessee tried to give Tony Carruthers the ol' government cocktail, but guess what? They couldn't find a vein. Seriously. This guy Carruthers, remember, is the dude who kidnapped and murdered three people back in '94. Beat 'em, shot 'em, buried 'em alive. Real stand-up guy.
But, hey, at least the state followed protocol… right? Apparently, they needed two IV lines, found one, but couldn't find a second vein suitable for a backup. You know, because efficiency in killing is paramount. Governor Bill Lee, bless his heart, gave the guy a one-year stay of execution. More time for the appeals, the virtue signaling, and the endless hand-wringing.
The ACLU, of course, is all over this. They claim Carruthers was forced to represent himself, the evidence was weak, blah blah blah. They even got 130,000 signatures on a petition. Bet they didn't get that many signatures to support the victims' families. Priorities, people.
Kim Kardashian jumped on the bandwagon too, because why not? She's urging everyone to call the governor and demand DNA testing. Because DNA testing will magically erase the fact that this dude was convicted of a horrific crime. Celebs, always making sure they stay relevant.
Now, Carruthers' lawyers are saying he's too mentally ill to be executed. Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Type, the whole nine yards. Apparently, having mental problems absolves you of all responsibility. Maybe the victims had mental problems too, ever think of that? No?
The whole thing is a clown show. We can't even manage to carry out a legally sanctioned execution without turning it into a circus. It's like watching a bunch of Keystone Cops trying to assemble IKEA furniture. Utter incompetence.
Meanwhile, the victims' families are left waiting. Waiting for justice. Waiting for closure. But hey, at least we're being really, really careful about making sure we don't violate the rights of a triple murderer. Makes perfect sense. Sarcasm, in case you missed it.
Maybe instead of focusing on finding the perfect vein, we should focus on fixing the system. A system that lets cases drag on for decades. A system that prioritizes the rights of criminals over the rights of victims. A system that's so afraid of making a mistake that it ends up making a mockery of justice. This is why the people hate the elites.
So, yeah, Carruthers gets a one-year reprieve. The ACLU gets to pat themselves on the back. Kim Kardashian gets some good press. And the victims' families? They get to keep waiting. Thanks, Tennessee. Thanks, America. You're doing great. This is what happens when you elect woke politicians.
It's not justice, it's just a bureaucratic cock-up. A completely predictable, utterly infuriating, and totally avoidable mess. Get it together, people. The government needs to stop pussyfooting around and get the job done. Next time, maybe hire a real nurse.
And remember kids, crime doesn't pay, unless you're really good at exploiting the legal system. Then you just might get a free year on the taxpayer dime. America, what a country.
This whole situation just proves once again that the legal system is a joke. It's time to drain the swamp and get back to some good old-fashioned justice. Eye for an eye. Tooth for a tooth. You know, the classics.
