So, get this: the State Department – you know, the woke brigade run by Tony Blinken – actually did something halfway sensible. They told V2X, some contractor leeching off the military-industrial complex, to maybe, just maybe, pull their employees out of Iraq and Kuwait. Apparently, the risk of getting turned into kebab by Iran-backed militias is, like, totally bumming out the contractors.

This whole thing is peak clown world. We're paying these companies obscene amounts of money to “provide base operating support and security services,” which apparently doesn't include, you know, not dying. Turns out, V2X is more concerned about their $252 million contract than their employees ending up as martyrs for wokeness.

One dude already got droned in March. You'd think that would be a sign. But no, V2X is all, “Voluntary evacuation? That's a paddlin'!” Translation: Leave, and you're fired. Because keeping that sweet, sweet government cheddar is more important than, you know, basic human decency.

The State Department even had a meeting with V2X, asking if the articles in the Guardian – the Guardian! – were true. V2X's response? They had to keep them there to “please the client.” Translation: The Pentagon wants warm bodies, even if they're bullet magnets.

And the best part? The State Department actually ordered a plane back to base for a possible emergency evacuation. Because, you know, admitting you screwed up is, like, so 20th century.

This is what happens when you let the government run anything. It's a bureaucratic clusterf*, where nobody wants to take responsibility, and everyone's too busy covering their own asses to actually do their jobs. The only solution is to drain the swamp, defund the military-industrial complex, and let these contractors sink or swim on their own merits. (Spoiler alert: they'd sink faster than a woke joke at a Trump rally.)

Meanwhile, the guys and gals on the ground are getting hammered by drones and gunfire, losing sleep, and generally having a crap time. All so V2X can pad their bottom line and the Pentagon can pretend everything's under control. What a joke.
