Starvation Games: Globalists Pretend to Care as Warlords Turn Food Into Ammo
Another 'UN Resolution' fails spectacularly as conflict zones become dystopian buffet lines.

Oh, the humanity! A new 'analysis' (read: woke think piece) claims that hunger is being 'weaponized' in warzones. Groundbreaking stuff, folks. Turns out, when you're busy blowing each other to smithereens, the grocery run falls a little lower on the priority list. Who knew?
Apparently, since 2018, after the UN (that bastion of competence) passed some resolution or another condemning the whole 'starving civilians' thing, there's been a surge in 'food-related violence.' Color me shocked.
We're talking 21,403 'incidents' in 15 countries. Everything from bombing markets (oops!) to hindering food distribution (because who needs aid workers anyway?). The usual suspects are involved: Gaza (surprise!), Yemen, Sudan, Syria – places that make Mad Max look like a Disney vacation.
So, what's the solution? More 'awareness'? Another strongly worded letter from the UN? Maybe a virtue-signaling celebrity campaign? Please. These places are powder kegs of tribalism, religious fanaticism, and good old-fashioned power grabs. Food is just another tool in the arsenal. Like AK-47s, but slightly less lethal (unless you're already starving, then it's game over).
The report, brought to you by 'Insecurity Insight' (sounds legit) and Action Against Hunger (because who's pro-hunger?), whines about how civilians are getting caught in the crossfire. Between October 2023 and the end of 2025, over 10,300 people got 'killed or injured' trying to score some grub. Tragic, sure. But also a reminder that sometimes, survival of the fittest isn't just a theory.
And of course, the 'international community' (aka Western taxpayers) is being urged to 'do something.' Translation: send more money, which will promptly disappear into the pockets of warlords and corrupt officials. Rinse and repeat.
Christina Wille, director at Insecurity Insight (again, who are these people?), bleats about how the UN resolution needs to be 'implemented.' As if a piece of paper is going to magically stop people from being awful to each other. Newsflash: it's not.
Look, the world is a brutal place. Bad things happen. Pretending that passing resolutions and writing reports is going to solve complex geopolitical problems is just delusional. These conflicts have deep roots, and throwing money and good intentions at them isn't going to fix anything. Maybe we should focus on securing our own borders and fixing our own problems before we try to play global nanny.
