Soros-Backed DA Special: Illegal Alien Released from Jail Instantly Tries to Drag Woman Into the Woods
DHS is calling out Virginia sanctuary politicians after a Nicaraguan national let in by Biden got his felony drug charges memory-holed before targeting women in a park.

Welcome to the absolute clown show that is local government in Fairfax County, Virginia. In today’s episode of 'Sanctuary Policies Have Consequences,' we have Moises Domingo Rico Rosales, a Nicaraguan national who crossed the border illegally in Arizona back in 2022. Instead of being sent back, the Biden administration released him into the interior, because of course they did. Fast forward to 2024, and Rico Rosales gets busted in Fairfax County on felony drug trafficking charges. A normal country would deport him immediately. But Fairfax County is not run by normal people.
Instead of facing justice or deportation, Rico Rosales got the red-carpet treatment from Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano—your classic Soros-backed progressive prosecutor. Descano’s office decided to drop the felony drug trafficking charges entirely, opening the door for his release. At the same time, ICE had placed a detainer on him, begging the county to keep him locked up so they could deport him. But local sanctuary politicians decided that cooperating with federal law enforcement was simply beneath them, refusing to honor the detainer.
Predictably, this stellar policy decision went exactly as expected. On Tuesday, police arrested Rico Rosales at Wakefield Park in Annandale. What did he do with his second chance at freedom? He allegedly exposed himself to one woman and then tried to drag another woman into the woods. He’s now facing charges of abduction with intent to defile and indecent exposure. You truly cannot make this stuff up.
Acting Assistant Secretary of DHS Lauren Bis didn't hold back, calling out the 'sanctuary politicians' who let this happen. 'This criminal illegal alien exposed himself to one woman in a park and then attempted to abduct another woman the same day,' Bis stated. She called out Governor Abigail Spanberger and her fellow virtue-signaling local politicians to stop releasing these criminals and hand them over to ICE. Spoiler alert: they probably won't.
Fairfax officials are already running their usual script, claiming they can't possibly hold anyone on an ICE detainer because of 'civil rights' and a lack of a judicial warrant. Meanwhile, normal citizens are just trying to walk through a park without getting dragged into the bushes by predators who shouldn't even be in the country in the first place.
If this story sounds familiar, that’s because Fairfax County has a history of this. Just months ago, Abdul Jalloh, an illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone with a casual 30-plus prior arrests, was charged with second-degree murder for stabbing 41-year-old Stephanie Minter to death at a bus stop. That tragedy sparked a congressional House Judiciary subcommittee hearing where Descano and Sheriff Stacey Kincaid got grilled by angry lawmakers. Yet, here we are again, watching the exact same script play out.
Until local officials decide that protecting their own citizens is more important than catering to illegal alien criminals, these 'preventable' crimes will keep happening. ICE has slapped another detainer on Rico Rosales, but history suggests Fairfax County will keep playing bureaucratic games while innocent people pay the price.
